I climbed the last rung of the fire-escape ladder, pulling myself up onto the roof of the apartment building letting out a huff. The streets were filled with cars all in a rush to get from point A to point B. Then, I heard a scream from the side of the building looking over the edge of the building I saw a girl run into the alley followed by a guy with a knife mumbling something undoubtedly perverted to himself. I looked around for quick way to get on the ground, but all I could see was a large garbage can. I stared at it for a moment contemplating, then I shrugged and backed up a few steps. I ran up and jumped getting into a cannon ball position as I fell into the garbage can hurting my legs a bit when I hit the bottom. Both the guy and girl stopped staring at the masked teenager crawling out of a trash can, but the shock turned into spite as the guy said "Beat it kid" I just stood there as he glared at me. "I dont wanna hurt a kid" he said I chuckled just as he was about to turn back to the girl who was just standing there scared shitless, "And you wont" I replied "because a 'kid' is gonna hurt you". I got an "are you kidding me" look and then a laugh as the guy closed his knife "I guess if you need to be taught a lesson" he said " It should be fair". I looked over at the girl, the man closing in on me and told her to "Leave" she ran as the man threw the first punch which I stepped away from. He looked kinda surprised, but I guess he had gone to far to turn back as he tried to hit me twice I dodged the first one but the second one connected knocking the win out of me. I tackled him and let loose on his face giving off more and more energy with each swing. When I stopped he was long since knocked out and the girl was long gone. I stood up fixing my messed up mask and looked at the guy on the ground. I walked away as the sun was just barely starting to set.
