Chapter 6: Outset Guardian

Outset Island, Great Sea
Ayanami POV

I continue to watch the sea while observing some of the islands that look smaller then the rest until I can hear Ghostwolf's voice coming from the speakers.

Ghostwolf(speaker): "We're approaching Outset Island Ayanami. Right dead ahead."

I head to the front of the deck to see a island that has a little village.

I head to the bridge where Ghostwolf is going around the island which is confusing for me since this is our destination. I enter the bridge and question Ghostwolf.

Ayanami: "Where are we going?"

Ghostwolf: "We're going around the back since there's a cave where Jabu-Jabu is living."

We head around the island to see that there was a cave behind the island and we enter the cave except that I don't see anything other than a around entrance. Ghostwolf walk out of the bridge and into the front deck which I start to follow him. We head to the front deck and Ghostwolf start talking to himself.

Ghostwolf: "LORD JABU-JABU; I'M HERE FOR HELP!"

Nothing is happening until I notice a shiny light coming from the bottom of the water until it start to raise up like a large water dome before a giant fish appear in front of us which shock me to see something so huge.

Ghostwolf: "This is Jabu-Jabu, but sometimes calls Jabun for short. He's the guardian of the water."

He starts to talk with this Jabu fish with different language that I don't understand and the fish is start talking with the same language as him so I have no choice but to wait for the responds.

Time Skip

I was sitting down while those two are talking until Ghostwolf offer him something which makes the big fish happy and took it before disappearing into the water. I rush to Ghostwolf and see if Jabu can help me of getting back to my world.

Ayanami: "So?"

Ghostwolf: "According to Jabu; we need to visit the Ghost Ship that has the information of getting you back home, but it won't be easy to find it."

I know that Ghostwolf is hunting that Ghost Ship for years so getting home will be hard then, but Ghostwolf is showing his smile.

Ghostwolf: "But; we do have a lead of finding it which is to collect the Ghost Ship Chart and collect the three Spirit Flames before we head to where the Ghost Ship is at."

Ayanami: Where is that?"

He head to the bridge and didn't say a word until we exit the cave.

Ghostwolf: "The Ghost Ship is located at the Graveyard."

Ayanami(confuse): "Graveyard?"

Ghostwolf: "Cursed sea that only those who dare to travel there will face death. A lot of sailors travel to the Graveyard to hunt a legendary treasure that sleeps within the water, but no one has return alive except a sea full of dead ships and skeletons of it's crew."

That was enough to make me scared of this place.

Ayanami: "Then I'm doomed?"

Ghostwolf: "Jabu told me that we need the three Spirit Flames that is under the protection of the guardians in order to travel the Graveyard safety and collect the treasure that sleeps within it. Jabu told me where the Spirit of Water Flame is located at Greatfish Isle, but looks like we need to go underwater to reach it."

Ayanami(confuse): "Why?"

Ghostwolf: "It's better if I show you."

So our next target is Greatfish Isle. Now we got a goal of reaching back to my world by finding this treasure that is sleeping in the Graveyard. We left Outset Island and heading to Greatfish Isle which Ghostwolf say it's not far. He say that it will be two islands away north before we reach Greatfish Isle so it's going to take half a day to reach it.

Time Skip
Five-Eye Reef, Great Sea

We continue to make our way to Greatfish Isle to find this Spirit of Water Flame; Ghostwolf is working something at the deck which looks like a giant ball.

Ghostwolf: "There you are Ayanami."

Ayanami: "What is this thing?"

Ghostwolf: "Diving Bell. If we need to get our hands on the flame then we need to go underwater, but how is your skill with weapons?"

Ayanami: "Since I can't use my rig; I'm good with sword."

Ghostwolf: "Good; you're going down there and fetch the flame."

I was shock that he would send only me down there which he explains that he need someone to operate the ship just in case they got company

Ayanami: "Are you worry that monsters will attack?"

Ghostwolf: "That and also pirates."

Ayanami: "Pirates?"

He hand me the map of the Great Sea and explain that we're heading to one of the pirates hideout which is Islet of Steel which is a huge fort with warships. We're going to bypass the area so they can avoid detection from the pirates and making our way to Greatfish Isle.

Meanwhile
Islet of Steel, Great Sea
??? POV

Look at all the treasures I got my hands on, but it's not enough. Only treasure I want is the one that is sleeping beyond the Graveyard; however my search for the three Spirit Flames has come up empty, but I'm not giving up on it. I was looking at my treasure until one of my henchmen report of a ship that belongs to Ghostwolf bypassing us and heading to Greatfish Isle.

Henchmen: "My lady; Ghostwolf is heading to Greatfish Isle and he got a girl with him."

???: "Girl with him? He never have a partner so what's the change of heart."

Henchmen(confuse): "You know of him?"

???: "Of course idiot; we're from the same crew before he ditch me and went rouge. He's probably figure out where the Flames are at and leaving me in the dark. ORDER ALL SHIPS TO INTERCEPT HIM!"

Henchmen: "Yes my lady."
