I was sitting in the middle of my bed just staring straight ahead , not focusing on any particular thing.
I had been crying for the past hour so my face was puffy and I kept sniffing.
I was trying not to tear up again so I had to do something to calm my mind.
Today was my moms birthday and I would usually spend it with her but..
I heard a sound come from my phone next to me , I picked it up trying to see who texted me.
With my eyes being blurry from the tears that haven't spilled yet , I read the name seeing it was Jenn.
I opened her message to see what she needed.

I was putting my phone down when it started ringing , I picked it up seeing that Jenn was facetiming me.
I answered before tossing my phone in front of me.
