Tonight is the night of the dance!!!!!! We started with dinner at Pasta Palazzo since Alessia's family owns it and then we took some pictures at this cool vine!!!

My dress is called " cintillii di zucchero filato" (cotton candy sparkles), Alessia's dress is called "Oceano" (Ocean), Sofia's dress is called "Notte Scarletta" (Scarlet night) and Elena's dress is called "Pallietes" (Sequins)
Yeah... in Italy, dresses have names... Dance here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Diary, so I just got back from the dance and I've got some stories to tell! So I thought that since me and the spezies came as a group that we'd be with each other the entire time and nobody else, I was wrong. 10 minutes into the dance, Alessia, Sofia, and Elena were with boys and dancing with them..

Yeah.... apparently there were guys all lined up waiting for them and nobody was there for me.... so I kind of just stood there awkwardly for awhile....... but then something kind of unexpected happened. There was this guy named Benjamin that approached me and said he'd dance with me....

Then I found out he is the only other American foreign exchange student at Stella Scoule Midie.... I told him I'm from Illinois, he's from Wyoming! I had no idea that there was another American at this school!!! He seems really nice!! The dancing was a little awkward but I'm glad I at least had somebody to dance with like the other Spezies were!
We then ate some snacks, went outside and hung out for a bit and then me, Alessia, Sofia and Elena went back to Elena's house for a little bit and then I got back home. And no, Jonathon and I didn't kiss... I kind of thought Jonathon and I were going to but no we didn't.... just talked, got to know each other more, and a little slow dancing. Or at least, to the slow songs. When there was a faster song, I was probably dancing with the girls.
Wait until I tell Raven about what happened tonight! Oh yeah..... I'm not best friends with her anymore.....
