Y/n pov:
I was in my room chilling, till I heard the doorbell, since I'm the oldest I have to answer when my mom's not here.
"Hey!" A tall person said
"Hi?" I said back awkwardly "you are?" I asked
"Oh I'm Micah, I'm your neighbor" he said with a smile
"Y/n" i said with a fake smile "Oh, you're the neighbor? I thought you guys were dead and the house was haunted" I said, Micah looked at me odd
"Umm, well we're not dead, we're actually having a party and we wanted to know if you wanted to come?" He had asked. I was kinda skeptical
"Um I don't know" i said
"It starts at 5 if you wanted to come" Micah continued
"Umm maybe, bc I have to watch my sister," I said
"Oh um she could come" Micah suggested
"Bringing a 4 year old to a party?" I asked with my eyebrows raised
"Well if I'm being honest I said party to try to be cool, but it's really just me and my siblings, but it would be a hangout if you guys come" he instigated
"I'll see if we can come" I looked over and see Jocelyn on the counter trying to get cookies " Jocelyn!! Get Down From There! Well I got to go but maybe I'll see you later" I say closing the door "Jocelyn! Get down!" I said grabbing her and bringing her down " Why did you climb? you could've just asked me" i asked
"You were talking to someone, and I didn't want to bother you, and yes I want to go to the neighbors" Jocelyn said with enthusiasm
"Really Jocelyn?" I asked
"Yes" she said
"Ok fine let go get dressed" I said
Micah's Pov:
I walk back home after going to y/n's. She seemed not nice but it was the first time we met so I don't blame her, was it just me or was she kinda cute? I kept walking home trying to get Y/n out of my head but I couldn't. I walked back into my house.
"Oh hey Micah, did you invite the neighbor?" Elijah asked
"Um yea I did but I don't know if she'll come" I said
"SHE?!?!?" The guys said
"I got to go put cologne on" Daniel said
"I got to get a better outfit" Josiah said
"I need to fix my hair" Judah said, as they all ran off to impress y/n but I'm confident that it won't work
"What about You? Aren't you gonna do anything to impress the neighbor" I asked Elijah, to be honest I kinda felt uncomfortable knowing that my brother's might like y/n but I know that it won't work so I'm fine
"No im not because I'm already confident that I'm gonna win her over" Elijah said with a smirk
"Your flys open" I said informing him, he looked down
"Wha-" he said shocked, I laughed at him and he gave me a glare.
~time skip to the party~
The party/hangout started. It was kinda boring. Some of our friends came, some of Mary and Brittany's friends came and I didn't know who they were. Everyone was talking to each other and I was just in a corner by myself with my drink. 30 minutes later y/n still isn't here, maybe she isn't coming.
