SP - Ross Kennedy Internal Monologue

[Before Act One, days before training]

 I think it goes without saying that not everyone in the world is the same.

 And by this I am not only referring to the physical complexion or the way of thinking, speaking or expressing oneself, but also the capacity that a person can demonstrate.

 Capacity also called, Talent, with many variants in which there are more branches, for example, Physical Capacity; Strength, Stamina, Speed, etc. Another example, Mental Capacity; Reasoning, Planning, Abstract Thought, etc.

 Normally a person can have one of these qualities, either totally, or only one of the branches of these, others have both capacities, although these people are minimal.

 And then there are those who don't have a shred of Talent. Those who suffer from this solve it in two ways.

 One of them is Effort based, and the others may not do anything to fix it, and probably end up regretting it until the day they die.

 The definition of Instinct is quite easy to understand.

 Natural, internal and irrational impulse that causes an action or a feeling without being aware of the reason to which it obeys.

 Why do I mention this?

 There is a belief that great Soldiers do not use their instincts, it is believed that mechanization and decision making is the result of a great effort.

 And although, in most cases this is true, there is a minority in which this does not happen.

 Soldiers, who totally rely on their instincts, and for the most part, complete their mission excellently.

 What do I want to get with this?

 Instincts are the maximum expression Genuineness, actions done automatically, which do not need to be processed by the brain, they are only carried out.

 A person with Talent cannot defeat someone who relies on his Instincts, much less a person who relies on effort alone.

 Instinct destroys Talent, Talent destroys Effort.

 A basic law in the world.
