Y/N ended up staying the night with harper. The next day, early morning, saturday. You rubbed your head, sitting up looking around. "Oh yeah, I stayed the night here." You mumbled, taking in your surroundings. There were pillows scattered around the place, and you were laying on the ground with a blanket half on your body half off your body with a pillow underneath your head.

"Morning." Harper said, walking into the penthouse, placing a tray of breakfast food down onto the counter. "Good morning." You said and got up and walked over to the counter. There were cinnamon rolls, apple juice, toast, eggs, and a bag of cut-up apple slices.

You and Harper ate breakfast talking about the movies, pillow fight, and basically all the havoc that you two caused with each other. Your phone went off from a call. You looked at your phone and immediately answered it. 'Who is it?' Harper mouthed curiously. 'Mom.' You mouthed back.

"Y/N, where are you? You weren't answering your phone last night, and I didn't see you or kayden when I got home? Also, do you know where kayden is?" M/N asked with an obvious worried tone. "I stayed the night with harper. No, I don't know where kayden is. Yesterday he said that he was busy, so he didn't pick me up. I haven't heard anything from him since." You answered. "Well, nice to know you're safe, but the fact that I don't know where your brother is and it's concerning. Well, I have some things to do today. Tell me if he texts or calls you at all." M/N said, and you could hear her breathe a sigh of relief. "Yep, got it, bye-bye mom." You said and then hung up the phone.

Your phone dinged a few seconds after the call ended. It was a text message from an unknown number. "Hey." the text said. You and Harper looked at each other, confused. "Should I answer it or not?" You asked her. "Yeah, it might be someone we know, just their phone number got removed. That does happen sometimes." Harper said, and you nodded your head. You texted back saying: "Hello, may i ask who this is?"Your phone dinged right after. "This is miles, remember me, your neighbor. I was wondering where you were. You didn't come home tonight." Miles texted back.

Your jaw dropped. "Either he is stalking me, or he is very observant." You said, kinda creeped out. "Wow, you got a guy asking where you are~" Harper said in a sing-song voice. "Shut up. It isn't like that." You replied with a slight blush. "How did you know that I didn't come back home? Stalker vibes much?" You texted back, and Harper happily waited, watching your phone in excitement. "Flatter yourself much? Also your mom knocked on our door and asked where you were since you didn't respond last night to her text or calls and that is also how I got your number so that i could help reach out to you." Miles responded, and you could tell there was sarcasm laced in the text message.

You sighed and sent him a thumbs-up emoji. "Aw to have your mom. She's so nice and I love her food." Harper said, twirling around happily. "Don't even, you act like such a good child around her, and she thinks that you are a good influence, but we both know that ain't true." You hissed with crossed arms. "Don't be jealous that I am the favorite~" Harper said in a sing-song voice.

Your phone dinged again, indicating a text message. It was from Miles. "Hey, so I was wondering if you possibly wanted to hang out today like a little bit later?" Miles asked. You almost choked on your own salvia. "What?!" You half yelled, looking at your phone completely confused, but a little bit flustered by the thought of hanging out with a your age, handsome, male neighbor. "Yooo, he does like you!" Harper yelled triumphantly in excitement. "Hey, don't jump to conclusions just yet." You snapped, and Harper stuck her tongue out and twirled around, talking about how he likes you and how you two are going to date and get married. She was obviously over exaggerating. You just rolled your eyes.

"Yeah, that would be fine. I am free all day and since we live next to each other we could easily meet up." You texted miles back. You looked at harper. "Stop saying all of that. Also, I should probably leave and go home since I need to get ready." You said while standing up, walking to the door, putting on your shoes to leave. "K." Miles texted back, ending the conversation. "Aww, okay. Have fun with your future husband." Harper said and hugged you goodbye, letting you leave her hotel room.

You walked home by yourself and walked into the apartment complex and took the elevator to your floor, and knocked on your door. The door opened and revealed someone who you didn't think you would see for a while. "Kai, what are you doing here?!" You said almost yelling. Your jaw dropped. "Well, guess what, shorty. I moved here, and I live in the apartment complex across the street, so you will be seeing me a lot more." Kai said with a proud smirk, and it was loud enough for kayden to hear, and he was laughing sitting on the couch with the tv on.

You sighed and walked inside and took off your shoes, and walked to your room. "Both of you leave me alone. I am leaving soon and I need to get ready." You said sternly while glaring daggers at them. "Yes, mom." They both said in sync, and you rolled your eyes and entered your room, closing the door. "Oh yeah, mom is going to come back home a little bit later just so you know." kayden said loud enough for you to hear. "Got it, thanks, and also, next time, tell me when you are not going to pick me up so that i can tell harper that I am going to stay the night." You answered.

A/N: Sorry about not making a chapter yesterday. I was really busy.
