Eda didn't go to work for a few days, she just couldn't bring herself to do it. She stayed on her medicine, but she didn't leave her house. She wasn't answering her phone at all, and no lights on. She pretty much didn't leave her couch.
While Darius was out on a walk, he happened to see raine out as well. This was amazing, because he hasn't seen raine since college. "Hey! Whispera what's up?!" He asked. Raine turned to him and smiled. "Hey Darius, it's been a while, yeah?" Raine asked with a smiled. "Yeah! How've you been?" Darius asked. "Ah, pretty good.. But I'm worried about eda" Raine said. Darius was surprised, eda had mentioned anything about seeing raine again, and it now made sense if her giddy behavior. "Oh.. Um.. Now that you mention it.. She hasn't been at the office for a few days.. " Darius said, holding the back of his neck. "S-she hasn't? Oh damnit.. This is all my fault" raine mumbled. "What? What are you talking about?" Darius asked, usually raine would be the key to make eda feel better, so how could they have upset her? "She.. Got mad at me..a few days ago, and she's not answering her phone" raine admitted.
"Well let's just try.. We both know how.. Unstable.. She can be at times" Darius said.
Meanwhile, eda started taking a lot of her Anti-Depressants. She was taking those things gs as if they were candy, halfway through the bottle, she was completely high. Eyes blood shot red and all. Then she got a call.
"H-hello?"
"Eda! Damn.. Thank god, are you alright?"
"Oh-ohhh... Weeee..well.. Nooooo.."
".. E-eda.. Are you.. Alright?"
"Sorry.. Gay boyyy.. Hehe...im... Up in the-the clouds.."
"Eda-.. Are you drunk?"
"Nooo..im.. I'm.. Eating.. Candy-candycandy... "
"The.. Fuck?.. What kind?"
"H-happy pills..?.. Yeahhh.. Like the song?.. I'm.. Eating em.. Allllllllll.... Up"
Darius hung up, and now they were both worried. "Darius what's wrong with her?!" Raine asked. "She's high on fucking Anti-Depressants!" Darius said. "WHAT!?.. We gotta stop her!!"
Raine said, stating the obvious. "I don't know where she lives!" Darius said. "I do! Come on we need to hurry!" Raine said, as they took of and Darius followed. They quickly ran over to eda's house. Raine tried to open the door, but of course it was locked. "Damnit!!" Raine yelled. "How are we supposed to get in!?" Darius asked. Raine took a few seconds, then thought of something eda told them a long time ago.
Flashback:
Eda and Raine, running through their high school after hours. Of course it was eda's idea. "Eda this is crazy!" Raine said, and rightfully so. "I'm crazy, and you love me don't ya?" She asked in a teasing voice, both now blushing. "If course I love you, but what if we get caught?!" Raine asked, right then a security guard started coming. Luckily it was dark, so they weren't exposed, eda quickly grabbed Raine arms and ran. "Crap crap crap!!! Eda what are supposed to do!?" Rai e asked, as the two ran. "Just trust me!" Eda said with a misch smirk. They turned a few halls, and got to the back door, but it was locked
Eda dug through her hair, and pulled out a Bobby pin. "What in the world are you supposed to do with that!?" Raine asked. "Sh!" Eda said, and quickly picked the lock, and they got out, and ran until the school what out of sight. Eda was giggling as they both caught their breath. "Calamity.. I love you, but your Insane" raine said with an out of breath chuckle.
End of flashback:
Raine looked at darius. "Do you have a Bobby pin on you!?" Raine asked. "Well.. Yeah- but why?" He asked. "No time, just give it to me!" Raine said. Darius dug through his hair, and gave a Bobby pin to Darius, and Raine attemptes picking the lock. Of course they didn't really know how to do it. So Darius kicked open the door. They ran in, and saw eda on the floor, unconscious, with the nearly empty pill bottle spilled on the floor. Tears streaming down Raines face, as they slide down to her. They pulled her close and checked her heart beat. It was weak but it was still there. "Darius call an ambulance!!" Raine cried. Darius did just that. "Come on calamity.. Stay with me.. " Raine whimpered. They kept eda close as they cried, they couldn't imagine a life without her. "Eda please.. Please.. Don't leave me.. I still need you" they whispered.
The ambulance came and took her away, while Raine and Darius came in Raine car. When they knew they needed to call Lilith, but neither of them had her number. However they had eda's phone but neither of them knew her password. Raine tried, her birthday, birth year, old locker codes. "Ugh.. I can't get in.." Raine sighed
"Try your birthday" Darius suggested. "What?.. Why mine?" Raine asked Darius gave rai e a lookt that said you know why. Rai e sighed, and put in their birthday, and to no surprise not worked which had Raine blushing.
"Edalyn!? Thank god iv been-"
"Sorry Lilith.. Um.. It's raine"
"What?.. Raine why do you-.. Where is she?"
"The um.. Hospital.."
"... Send me the location"
Lilith hung up, and Raine did as she said. About 2 hours later, Lilith ran up to them. "Where is she!?" Lilith asked in tears. Darius pointed to the hospital room. Lilith wiped her face, and adjusted her hair. "What even happened to her!?" Lilith asked. Raine looked down, then took eda's empty pill bottle out their pocket and handed it to her. Lilith looked at it, and nearly broke down again. Just then a doctor came out. "Are.. You all here for edalyn clawthorne?" He asked. "Y-yes.. Is she okay?" Raine asked. "Shell be just fine, but she will be out for the rest of the day, she should be awake and conscious some time tomorrow" the doctor said. "Thank you.. Is.. It alright if we go see her?" Lilith asked. "Of course.. Family only" he said. "Well.. I'm her sister.. Their.. Her.. Spouse" Lilith lied, pointing to raine making them red. "And.. Our.. Brother" Lilith lied again pointing to Darius. The doctor gave a skeptical look. "Are.. You sure?" He asked. "Mhm! He's adopted.. Pick him. Up off a street corner when he was 7" Lilith said. Darius glared at Lilith, while Rai e tried not to laugh. "Ah, alright, you may all go in" the doctor said, as the 3 walked in.
"Seriously?.. Of a street corner!?" Darius asked. "Well you in here, arnt you?" She asked with a smirk.
They laid eyes on eda, and the mood was soloem again. She was blocked up to multiple monitors. They all stayed with her for the rest of the day.
