Dragging my suitcase, I made my way to a worker at the airport desk who would check my passport before I could board the plane.
I smiled at the worker before handing him my passport, hoping that the gesture would put him in a good mood and make the process of checking my passport go as smoothly as possible.
He glanced at me seriously before taking the passport from my hand and began to scan it carefully. His expression remained serious as he examined the document, and I could feel my heart racing with anticipation.
"What is your reason for stay?" He asked as he looked up from the passport and into my eyes.
I swallowed hard and tried to keep my composure, giving him an answer as confidently as possible.
It had been a while since I had left the USA, 6 years to be exact as I hadn't had the opportunity to travel abroad in the past few years due to my work commitments.
I couldn't help but feel a little strange as I was now leaving because of my work commitments, something which I had been trying to do for the past few years but had not been able to.
"My career," I answered, nervously. I had been working hard to get to this point, and now I was finally taking a step to further my career.
He carefully studied my expression, looking for any signs of deception or nervousness that could suggest I was not telling the truth.
After a few moments of silence, he nodded and stamped the passport before handing it back to me with a smile. "Go ahead," he said.
I thanked him for his help and made my way to the boarding gate, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I couldn't help but feel excited for the journey that lay ahead of me, and the possibility of furthering my career.
I followed the signs to the correct gate and entered the terminal. I could see my plane in the distance, the large white and blue aircraft glimmering in the sunlight. I made my way to the line of people waiting to board the plane, joining the end of the queue.
After a few minutes, I was able to board the plane and find my seat. I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the journey ahead.
Finding my seat, I took a moment to look around. I had specifically picked the window seat so I could stare outside and take in the view. I looked out the window, admiring the vast expansion of clouds and the beautiful blue sky.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration as I watched the world pass by beneath me.
I placed my headphones over my ears and started to watch a documentary about the evolution of London Fashion Week over the years.
As I watched, I marveled at the designs that had been showcased throughout the years, from the iconic pieces of the '90s to the more experimental designs of the early 2000s. I was amazed by how much the fashion industry had changed since the first show in 1984.
I was also inspired by the stories of the designers and models who had taken part in the show, and how their work had impacted the fashion world. I was filled with a sense of pride that I was able to witness such an amazing event in person , and I was excited for the future of fashion.
I watched Naomi Campbell intensely as she strutted down the runway, her presence commanding the attention of the audience. I was so entranced by her performance that I was taken aback when I was tapped on the shoulder.
I turned to see a young woman, no more than twenty years old, standing beside me. She looked at me with a sense of admiration and excitement in her eyes, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride radiating from her.
