I don't know about Valerie she seems nice but so did eve and I am not doing the same mistake again.we both just started doing laps.i started regretting coming early since now I have to solve this riddel.

Valerie went out first and dried her self."sooo"val said"you live here" "yeah you can say that" there was something about Valerie that made me almost what to trust her like half off me thought she wasn't a threat.she was walking in too the house but stopped"hey do you know where my room is"i gave her a weak laugh"come on I will show you"i sighed as I came out of the pool drying me slef with a towel.

"Thanks and goodnight" Valerie said as I dropped her off to her room. Valerie seemed really familiar like I met her before.i went to my room and I slowly fell asleep.

I woke up at 5:30 to start my day and also to figure out what the letter I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat but I noticed Valerie was already up"what are you doing up so early"val asks "the real question is what are you doing" "no fair I asked you first" "you are acting like a child but since you are so invested in my business I am grabing something to eat before i start my day" "oh I am sorry I didn't mean to offend you or anything" val apologised "I was wondering since you are the only one awake and the only one I know rn either than avery so can you kinda help me with the letter" I nodded "okay but first I am gonna take a morning swim wanna join"val asked I would've not aggred but this way I can get to know her better get to know if she is a threat or not so I nod again meet you by the pool then"val said smiling .

Valerie was already in the pool when I got there.i hopped in the pool and sat across from her."so Val where are you from" "well I live in Spain but my father is French and my mom is cuben" "cool" "do you have any siblings" "grayson just say that you are testing me" I stare at her "what" I Ask "I know you think I am a threat and I know you are testing me to make sure I am safe for this family I do appreciate you looking put for them but at least tell me" val says "3" "what" "the answer to your question I have three siblings 1 older brother two younger sisters" "oh well that must be fun" I said knowing how she feels she laughs "what about you" "well I have two younger brothers and on elder brothers" "I am guessing he is the one that Is getting engaged" "good guess" "you know sometimes is hard" she says looking at the trees infrot of her "what is" "it's just I grew up with abusive parents and me and my siblings always have eachother but things happened I am know studying at harvered ny older brother niko is married my two younger siblings marina and kira moved fo New York with there boyfriends and I was stuck with my shity parents I don't even know if  i should call them that and me and my siblings just don't talk anymore no one has asked about me for the past five months  not even my boyfriend Liam I bet he isn't even looking for me no one knows were I am except my best friend i mean harvered is the only time i am away from my parents amd during it the never called me" I somehow knew how she felt but that is not what seemed to surprise me she gets to harvred now it all I coming back that one night."you know your the first person I ever said those things too I should probably never have told you cause like why would you care"  "no it's okay"i say the memory of that night coming back "how do you trust me so much I mean we just met" I wonder if she remembers "I don't know it's just my gut it's telling me that I can trust you I hope that you will someday trust me too"

We talked for an hour before we got out and I trusted her not fully but a bit.her boyfriend was abusive too.and it all showed once she was put of the pool her legs we covered with bruises her back had a big scar and her arms were covered with bruises that seemed to be healing.i didn't see them before since I was only focused on her face and she always wore hoodie the first time we met she was wearing shorts but no one seemed to notice everyone was so happy for libby and nash."see you later" val said I just nodded

I went back to my room but I couldn't do anything The same question over and over again. Is val really telling the truth?

Thank you for reading! This took a while to write and I am aware that this isn't the best writing but I am trying I also have all those good scenes in my head so I wanna rush it but I can't cause I have to wait

And omg I fished the brothers hawthorne and it was literally the best tge worst part is i couldn't tell anyone about it cause no one has read it from my friends.i am sooooo exited for the next book I am team grayson btw
