Chapter 3

(**Hello people Sorry for updating chapter 3 so late actually I was busy with all my results and collage stuffs, so it took me quite a lot of time for updating. Btw, enjoy my story. Your feedbacks are always welcome **)

I woke up by the sound of birds chirping outside the window. It was 6 am by the clock. I saw my dad was still sleeping. I was so excited for the first day of my collage that I woke up. I brushed my teeth and tied my hair into a messy bun. I found the morning newspaper beside a small space in the door. I started flipping the pages and read the news.

"Good morning! You woke up so early today, can't believe my eyes" my dad said getting up from the bed.
"Hahaha, yes! Good morning to you too. I'm so excited for today" I said checking the time.
It was already 7:30 by the clock. My dad went for a quick shower and again I was alone in the room. So I decided to call my mom but then I realised it would be night there in India. But, anyway I called her. I dailed her number.

"Hello love" she said as she picked up the phone.
"Hii ma, what are you doing" I said replying to her.
"Just getting ready to go to bed. I guess it's morning there?" she asked.
"Yes mom. Today is a very big day for me. I'll be getting a seat in CSI. I'm so excited" I said almost screaming in excitement.
"Yes, I know. Just remember one thing after you get into collage, concentrate on your studies and don't waste time. By the way, is there a hostel facility there?" my mom asked me.
"Yes! I'll be staying in hostel and it's just a few blocks away from the collage inside the collage campus so nothing to worry" I said checking the time once again.
"Great. And also when staying there, don't go anywhere with any strange people. You never know intentions of people" she said warning me.
I almost choked on laughing and said "Lol! Mom don't worry, nobody's gonna kidnap me". I laughed at my own words.
"You silly girl anyway I'm going to bed now. Good morning to you have a nice day. Love you" my mom said.
"Thanks ma! Good night to you. Sleep well" I said hanging up the phone.

I saw my dad all ready. It was 7:50 by the clock so I decided to take a quick shower. After a quick shower, I put on a pair of jeans, a white top which had a little bow infront and brushed my hair tying it into a bun. I then walked into the room where my dad was sitting.

"Are you ready? Coz we have to reach CSI in time. Lets have some breakfast then we'll proceed to go" my dad said going through the list of dishes in the menu card.
"Yes i'm ready. I'm gonna go and check all my documents that are needed for the admission, till then you order the breakfast" I said as I ran towards the bedroom where I kept a file in which all my important papers were there.

I grabbed the file and went to the living room where I found our breakfast has already arrived. We had our breakfast and after that I put on my shoes and we went out.

It was 8:15 already. We went by the same way as we did the day earlier when we went to see my collage. We reached St. George Ferry Terminal at 8:30. From there we took the S62 bus which would take us to CSI.

We reached CSI at 9:30 am. It was a beautiful campus. Mature trees, woodlands and ornamental plantings covered the great lawn. The Sports and Recreation Center and athletics fields were located near the main entrance to the campus.
The students housing apartments were located near the Recreation building where I was to stay.

We proceeded to the principal's office who was also the president of the collage. We submitted all the essential documents that were needed for my admission and finally I got a seat in CSI. The principal gave me the room number where I would be staying from that day.

When I reached the housing apartment which was few blocks away from the collage, I asked a lady for the direction of my room. She helped me out. She pointed towards the stairs which lead to the second floor. My room number said "B - 12". When I entered my room, I found out that a pretty girl was sitting on one of the beds. She was unpacking her bags. She smiled at me and I did the same.
The room was not very big but yeah was comfortable in an unusual way. I unpacked my bags and after 1 hour everything was settled. It was already 3 pm by the clock. My dad was to return home the next day. This thought made me sad again because I won't be able to meet him again as his flight was at tomorrow morning. So, my dad waved me goodbye and returned to his hotel.

It was a long and tiring day for both me and my dad. After my dad left, I chatted with my new room mate for a little while and went back to sleep. The next day would be a start of new journey in my life.
