Cold Breeze|| Sanemi x Reader

I stared at the ceiling, daydreaming. I was thinking about strawberry flavored cupcakes. My favorite fruit is a strawberry actually. It was a very very early morning, which I'm not very used to but Sanemi's loud screaming woke me up.

I thought he had gotten hurt, but he was just sparring with another pillar. I sigh and get up, going to take a nice quick shower. I went to the bathroom, turning the water on while I undressed myself.

. . .

That was refreshing, I feel energized now. I didn't think I'd take a 10 minute shower.. but.. It felt so warm and nice.. I just didn't want to leave. You feel me right??

By the time I had gotten out, the pillar left. I was sitting on the terrace, watching a crow that was.. flying directly at us? It landed on the wooden dummy, right next to Sanemi. It seemed to be talking to him..?

"I swear I'll exterminate all those damn demons." I heard him mutter. He then turned to look at me, a soft expression on his face. I nodded slightly, raising a brow. He then motioned his fingers, gesturing for me to come over. I quickly got up going over to him.

"Hey, I know this is a bit straight forward, but Rengoku died on that mission overnight." He said boldly, staring at me.

I looked down at the ground, my hands starting to tremble a little. "You're joking.. Right..?" I look at him, my face scrunched up a bit. "No, it's not a joke." He says, hesitating to bring his arm around my shoulder to at least give me the slightest bit of comfort.

He seemed to know how close me and Kyojuro are, even in such a small amount of time.

It was awkward silence as I stood there, not accepting what Sanemi just told me.

He then walks forward a bit, throwing his arms around me.

"I know how you feel."

He says holding tightly. I furrowed my brows a bit, tears already streaming down my face. "How could you know how I feel..?" I say, my voice a little harsh.

His arms drop to his side as he looks down at me, his expression blank. Several moments of silence passed before I gasped. He started walking away, inside of his estate. "W-Wait I'm sorry! I-I was being selfish.." I say, covering my mouth as to what I just said.

My heart is so hurt, I can't even think straight. Kyojuro, he was like a brother to me.. But then again, I probably just hurt Sanemi's feelings. Wh-What do I do? I'm messed up..

I rush back inside, throwing my arms around Sanemi. He paused. "I'm sorry.. I was out of my head.. My feelings were just hurt badly I forgot to think about how you felt.." I muttered into his back. He slightly turned around, wrapping his arms around me too.

I guess... We both just need a hug right now.

Bro I've been stuck on this paragraph for 2 days, like idk what to write.. time skip? 😤

I sat on my futon, with Blossom on my lap. I always come to her for comfort. Her soft and furry coat brings me warmth and joy, but it's going to take a long time to feel that after the news.. But what do I do about Sanemi? He still hasn't talked to me ever since I started being selfish.

I sigh, "I'm so fudged.." I say under my breath. Just take deep breaths, stay calm. I lay down starting to fall asleep after my silent tantrum.

I should start writing down what upcoming chapters will be bc.. I LITERALLY CANT THINK OF ANYTHING

AND I MIGHT NOT UPDATE LATELY BC I HAVE SCHOOL ON THE 28 😭😭😓 tell some more ideas, I'll try and make them to good use. Wait first let me uhm just write down some one mine here cuz i'll forget.

1- You all start to hang out with Giyuu after Kyojuro's death for comfort. You grow a bit close to him which ticks Sanemi off making him jealous, knowing that you are not at his estate half the time anymore.

2- Giyuu comes to the wind estate every now and then to check up on you after Kyojuro's death. Sanemi gets ticked off by his appearance, but he let's Giyuu do so, because he knows he's all huddled up, and is hesitant to give you the comfort you need.

3- I literally just forgot oml
