I am like so sorry

Ever since school started I couldn't find the motivation to post because I was just caught up in so much other stuff. But now that it's thanksgiving break, I can finally turn my attention to you guys. I am truly sorry for my lack of post, forgive me

.

It's been about 2 weeks since Kyojuro's death. I haven't gotten over it.. Sanemi's on another mission, leaving me alone at his estate yet again. But I can't blame him..  Maybe I should find someone to talk too..

I got up opening my shoji letting the light seek in. I felt like I haven't been out of my room in ages. Sanemi always had to make and bring me food because I wouldn't leave. The food honestly didn't taste that bad.

I was too tired to make myself breakfast, so I just decided to leave without doing so. I put on my pink sandals and opened the door, slowly walking out into the ray of sunshine. The sun beamed on my skin giving it a warm sensation.

I walked down the path that lead to the little town area. I wanted to explore the place, since it's only my second time being down here.. Ever since Kyojuro took me there. I sighed and continued walking. I wasn't paying attention because I was thinking about Rengoku at the moment and bumped into someone. His face was recognizable.

Giyuu?

He stared at me for a split second before clearing his throat. "Sorry, I should be off." (Idk this sounds weird I couldn't think of any other sentence that tells you he's gonna leave)

Before he could go, I tugged his sleeve. "Hey, uh.."

Fart!? What should I say..? I didn't think this through. "Uh.. W-wanna hang out..? Be friends or something..?" I said smiling awkwardly.

Giyuu looked at me, a tiny spark in his eyes. He seemed surprised? I looked at him, waiting for a response.

"I...yeah, sure.." He sighed.

Okay... he said yes.. where do we go?

"We can go to my house.. for tea." He suggested. That sounds good, it's like he kind of read my mind.

He started walking, which I suppose he wants me to follow him, and so I did. I walked beside him, trying to forget about Rengoku at the moment. "So... what things do you like?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.

He stayed quiet for a few seconds, then opened his mouth. Nothing came out though, he seemed hesitant. "I..I like simmered salmon and daikon.."

"I've tried that once it's really good! My favorite food is ohagi." I replied smiling. We continued talking about our interests while on the way to his estate.

Switched pov to ?

I glared at the two of them talking together. I don't understand..? Is it really that easy for him to communicate with a random girl..? Whatever, at least he's talking to someone. Maybe that could be his first friend. I'm glad.

Take a guess on who this mysterious person could be right here!

. . .

"Wow, your house is really pretty!" I said as we arrived. "Thanks.." Giyuu muttered. He then walked over to his kitchen grabbing a tea pot. I watched as he filled it with water, then made a fire to heat the water.

I sat down on the pillow, breathing in the fresh mint scent his house had. He's so neat it's incredible. Maybe we could hang out like this again.

After about 3 minutes, Giyuu came over to where I was with two cups of tea. Green tea. He placed the cup into my hands, his hands caressing mine for a few moments. I felt my face heat up a little. He was so gentle...?

"Drink up," He said, his tone soft. I held the cup to my lips, drinking the hot liquid. It burnt my tongue, but I didn't wanna make a scene and probably spit all of it out onto his face so yeah..
