Chapter 2: ....."After class"

I stay at my desk waiting for the students to leave. Once they all were gone lesso looks at me and then back at her desk " how many powers do you have Y/n L/n" lesso asked as she stared in ur eyes to see if ur gonna lie "I actually don't know ma'am i haven't been working on them" you replied honestly "well i think you are a very powerful kid so i want you to do what you did in class today but maybe more cuts?" She leans against her desk "yes ma'am" you say as you stood up using ur powers to lift an apple in the air cutting it in more then one way slicing it into slices as lesso watch seeming to be amazed "well dear thank you you may leave now" lesso says with a nod as she sits at her desk you nod and leave the classroom going to ur dorm seeing ur dorm mates looking at you "what is it?" You ask clearly annoyed "what happened with you and lady lesso?" They ask "she wanted me to work on my powers that's it" you replied

The next morning you wake up checking the time then immediately started getting ready getting your breakfast and sitting with some friends and you glance at lesso realizing as soon as you glance at her and she glanced at you at the same time sending a soft smirk as breakfast ended faster then you thought maybe cause you overslept. You make it to her class "ok students I want you to work on your powers more today so Y/n your first" you stand up walking over "so wildcard what are we seeing today?" You hear Hester say "don't piss me off" you responded and you let your finger become on fire then you put it out. You knew they were right you are a wildcard but it isn't easy having more then one power it made you miserable having to have people talk about you and you having to deal with all these classes.

*After classes in the dorms*

"Aww poor y/n to much power huh?" You hear Hester mock you and you glare trying to hold back from fighting her you didn't know how to control your powers fully so you didn't want to fight just yet until she stepped in your face "what do you want Hester?" You say clearly annoyed seeing her glare at you and then scoff "why waste my time on you" she replied Looking you up and down like you were nothing "I don't know why you would maybe cause you can't stand me cause my god parents killed your mom" you say squinting your eyes she would then slap you harshly as it sent tears to your eyes you stood up rushing out the dorm "Don't talk about my mother!" You hear her say before you take a few turns and end up in front of lesso's office Sighing as you knocked.

Lesso pov.

"Come on!" Whoever decided to bother me is dead meat. I watch as you walk in and I sigh at the handprint on your face "what happened" I say putting the pen down "Hester she keeps annoying me and I may have triggered her" you responded avoiding eye contact "what did you say or do?" I say knowing that something lead up to this "I told her she's mad because my god parents killed her mom" you knew that was fucked up to say but shes always talking about them and talking about your parents "is she talking about your parents in a bad way?" I watch you nod and I stand up walking over to you pressing my cold hand against your cheek knowing it'll help with the swelling a bit and you shiver to the touch blushing a bit "oh and j brought you this I know you get tired of having to carry to homework to your office so I brought it to you instead well as much as I could grab" you put the small stack of homework in my hands and I nod kind of surprised nobody has ever brought the homework for me "uhm thanks y/n you a big help"

I put the hand against your cheek again watching you blush and lean into the touch making lesso slightly blush nobody has ever done this they were always afraid of her she felt a spark between you two like you were her one am I falling for a student of mine ? No no I can't love I can't... She would look down at you watching you smile and close your eyes "is this helping at all" I ask to break the silence "yes thank you ma'am" you responded quietly I feel my heart start to pound in my chest as I didn't know what this feeling is but it felt weird but I only felt it around her around you. You slowly open your eyes not realizing it's the next day as you say up you were laying on lesso's couch in my office with my coat on you as i was nowhere to be found in that office you would blush as you held the coat close "she's beautiful.. and smells amazing I wonder what perfume that is" you say out loud but to yourself. I had excused you out of your classes for today since you needed a break after last night

You stand up and snap your fingers a new outfit on your body going to the lunch hall since it was lunch time you sat at a table with your friends and ate and they noticed the mark on your face "you ok y/n?" Your friend Valerie says and you nod you were lying you were doing terrible your face hurt and your body from your sleeping position and you felt terrible as people whispers and laughs in your direction. After lunch you went to the library and sat and read a stack of books until you heard a familiar sound of heels clicking when you looked up lesso had just walked in "are you alright y/n? And don't lie to me" she says sternly "actually I'm not fine my body hurts and I'm constantly being bullied and getting told I'm nothing " you say tears daring to show "don't listen to them y/n you are the strongest never I have ever had you have so many good powers your stronger then them and its my job to help you control and discover these powers" lesso says sitting beside you. You started to notice over the past few days she had a soft spot for you which is a rare thing to happen
You decided to confront her on it tomorrow after classes...
