"Huh?"

Hindi daw niya ako natandaan? Ouch. He asked for my name, but he couldn't remember me at all? Tampo ako doon slight. I-uunlike ko na siya! Just got my hopes up.

"I'm sorry about that. I do remember you" He softly chuckled while his ears reddened a little. "My parents own the cafe and she's a new worker, baka isumbong ako."

Charot. Maybe I was just thinking about it a little too much. Wait. I furrowed my brows and bit my lower lip. Sumbong? "Is there a problem if a woman's looking for you?"

"Technically, yes. They're gonna suspect me of working at the cafe to flirt, lalo na they don't know you." He stared at me and it gave me a moment to see his features more. Ngayon ko lang napansin he had a mole under his eye and on the tip of his nose. His brows were perfectly shaped which complimented him. When he tilted his face a little, I also noticed that he had a sharp jawline. Matutunaw na ata ako kapag tinitigan ko pa siya nang matagal.

Natauhan lang ako when he suddenly spoke pero wala akong naintindihan. Inisip ko kasi kung ano kaya ang mangyayari if maging jowa ko siya. "Huh?"

"I asked you if you went somewhere."

"Why? Curious ka? And how are you sure I went on a trip?" Just an excuse para marinig ko ulit 'yung boses niya.

"The last time I saw you, you weren't holding any luggage. Hmm, assuming you picked someone up. Today's different because may bitbit ka unless sabihin mo na it's someone else's, but then again I don't see anyone na kasama mo. That's my guess."

He looked like he was thinking really hard before coming up with a conclusion. I asked him for fun, hindi ko naman alam na seseryosohin niya. It's obvious naman na galing ako sa isang flight, but the way he dissected everything made me laugh. He stared at me when I giggled because of his answer. "Did I say something funny? Was I wrong?"

Mukha siyang confused na puppy. Naka-tilt pa ang ulo. Damn, other than he's attractive, funny din siya with how he reacts with such things. Umiling lang ako sa sinabi niya. "Obvious naman na kagagaling ko lang sa isang flight, but ang funny how you even brought up the last time we met to answer my question. Cute mo din."

Napansin ko na mas lalong namula ang ears niya sa sinabi ko. I drank some of the coffee and looked in the opposite direction. It was awkward, wala sa amin ay nagsasalita. Aalis na sana ako when he broke the silence. "Can I go with you?"

Hindi ko alam kung ano 'yung sasabihin ko. My parents wouldn't bother me naman if hindi pa ako nakauwi since hindi ko sinabi kung anong oras balik namin. Kit and Yssei would probably be happy na nag-interact na kami and all. Kaso masyado pang mabilis para sa akin. What if maging one night stand toh? Virgin pa ako, please 'wag muna!

"Sure...?"

"Don't worry I'm only staying till you get a ride. Would initiate to give you one, but I don't wanna make you uncomfortable. After all, we're still strangers... Kind off."
