"Mads! I have an idea!" Gina exclaimed as she entered their dorm, rushing into Maddox's room.
Maddox, who had been studying at her desk, jumped in fright.
"Jesus, Gi! Give me a warning next time!" She said, chuckling.
Gina laughed, hurried over to Maddox's bed, and took a seat. "Sorry, Maddie, I'll knock next time. Do you want to her my genius idea?"
Maddox turned her chair around so she was face to face with Gina. "Spill."
"Ricky Bowen."
"What about him?" Maddox asked, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Nini was crazy about him." Gina said, giving Maddox a look that said 'isn't it obvious'.
"I'm still not following."
"And she was heartbroken when he broke up with her."
"I remember," Maddox recalled. "We had to drag her out of her dorm every day for months."
"Exactly," Gina replied, a mischievous grin creeping up on her face. "Don't you think it'd drive her mad if she saw me with him."
A mixture of concern and realisation washed over Maddox's face, "Oh, I see where you're going with this now."
"Why do you look so concerned?" Gina asked, laughing.
"I mean, I definitely think it'd drive her mad, but how are you planning to convince Ricky to be part of this? Don't you guys hate each other?"
"No, I hated him because he broke my best friend's heart. But she's not my best friend anymore, so I can tolerate him," Gina explained. "As for getting him to agree to help me, I'm going to need your help. More specifically, your brother's help."
"Okay, now I'm confused again. Why do you need Jet's help?" Maddox looked puzzled.
"Isn't he friends with Ricky?" questioned Gina.
"I mean, I wouldn't exactly say "friends". They were friends last year, now they only say hi to each other when they cross paths in the courtyard. They're more like acquaintances now."
"Well do you think he'd be willing to talk to Ricky this one time, just to help me out? Pleaseeeeeee ask him Mads!" Gina pleaded.
"Alright fine! I'm sure he'd be willing to help you out one time. Jet never really liked Nini anyway, he always warned me he got a weird vibe from her." Maddox said.
Gina lunged at Maddox and gave her a big hug, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love you!"
"I love you too, Gi." Maddox replied, then she picked up her phone and rang her brother.
