Something was up with Izuku as he stormed into class ten minutes later that day, Katsuki could tell. He was confused- Izuku was supposed to be taking care of Eijiro. But here he was, sitting down in the chair next to the blonde with an angry look on his face.
"You're joining us today, I see?" Aizawa called. Izuku muttered something that sounded like an agreement. Katsuki watched the greenette out of the corner of his eye, feeling a bit worried for his friend.
For his crush.
He suppressed a sigh and looked away. Why, why did he have to fall in love again? With a boy?! He was going to get rejected and kicked out soon enough. He wasn't sure why he was getting close to this particular boy, after everything.
After Denki.
He blinked a couple times, fighting off memories threatening to resurface. He didn't want to think about it. Not in the middle of class. He was bound to start sobbing uncontrollably. Izuku probably already thought he was crazy enough, having found him up in the roof that day...
Maybe that's why. He didn't make me go after seeing me so weak, and I trust him. He understands and he cares. He didn't get rid of me...
Sure, his depression had been... difficult for the past few days. Since Izuku had saved his life, he hadn't gotten a chance to cut- Izuku watched over him like a hawk. And it was starting to all get bottled up inside, but he had no way to let it out. He just wanted to focus on his learning, but of course he'd end up with a stupid crush on another boy and depression getting worse.
Before he knew it, he felt someone tapping on his shoulder. He looked up to see Izuku, arms crossed.
"Lunch time," the greenette said, a smile slowly coming onto his pretty face.
Katsuki, no, just his face, not his pretty face.
Your gay is showing.
The blonde nodded weakly, knowing that he'd have to eat- Izuku would be watching him. He slowly pulled himself up, feeling a slight worry- he'd zoned out for the entire class... what had they learned today? He was going to fail this class so badly.
"So, I heard the cafeteria's offering homemade pizza today, or we can walk around and go to a restaurant?" Izuku suggested, picking up his books. Katsuki shrugged, taking his from his desk.
"Well, I wanna bring you somewhere where there's good food," Izuku mumbled, starting to walk out of the classroom. Katsuki hurried to catch up. "So, pizza or anything else you can think of." Katsuki tried not to shrug, knowing that wouldn't be any help. He wasn't hungry, anyway.
Well, he was, but he didn't want to eat.
"I'll take restaurant, thanks," he replied, knowing that he could just order something healthy and small- that would be better than pizza. Unhealthy. He'd end up so overweight from it... he could get... salad, or something.
"Alright!" Izuku smiled. "C'mon, then, let's go!" He gently grabbed his hand, pulling him down the hallway towards the exit door. Katsuki forced a smile onto his face, then remembered something.
"Eijiro, is he still sick? How is he?" He asked, looking up at Izuku.
"He's fine," Izuku muttered, his whole mood shifting.
"Ah, sorry..." Katsuki mumbled, looking away. Izuku just laughed it off and ruffled his hair, making Katsuki's heartbeat speed up. Why, why did he have to be so cute, touch him so gently... it just made Katsuki need to have him more and more.
