A dance.
He glanced sideways at Katsuki. The blonde looked excited, his gaze scanning over the information on the page. He was definitely into the idea of a dance. Izuku smiled. Maybe he could ask him out. After all, they were technically dating. They hadn't really spoken through it, but he'd kissed Katsuki and Katsuki had kissed him back...
Yeah, they were boyfriends. For sure.
So he was bound to say yes.
Izuku crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair. The information page for the dance was set on his desk, exactly where Eijiro had left it. He reached forward and picked it up, his gaze scanning over the page.
I have loads of time to ask him out.
A determined look came on his face. He couldn't just ask him out. This would have to be the best. He was going to need flowers, and to write a song. Katsuki deserved the world, and if he was going to ask him out, it had to be amazing.
Well, he couldn't write songs, so flowers would have to do.
Classes passed by quickly when Izuku wasn't listening, and once they were all on their way back to the dorms, he mad a left turn towards the exit. He was going to get flowers. They had to be the most beautiful flowers there, for Katsuki. Everything was going to be perfect if Izuku was in charge.
He walked out of the school and off campus, starting his long walk towards the nearest flower shop. He didn't know much about flower language, but he knew he could probably just ask for flowers that meant what he was trying to say. Katsuki was smart, he probably knew everything about flowers.
He entered the shop. Thank god he was the only one there- except for the cashier, of course. He walked up to the front desk and looked at the girl behind the desk. She smiled brightly. She was kind of cute, with chin length brown hair and wide chestnut coloured eyes.
"Hi, how can I help you today?" She asked, leaning on the desk.
"I need flowers, obviously, because that's why I'm here, uh..." he laughed nervously. "This is my first time getting flowers for someone... I need flowers that mean something along the lines of 'I'll love you forever'..."
"Oh! How romantic!" The girl smiled widely and hurried out from behind the desk. "Well, red roses for 'I love you', white lilies for eternal love, and some alstroemeria's for soulmates!" She listed off, making Izuku feel a bit stupid- of course roses were for love, he should've known that. He watched her search for the three flowers, then arrange them in a beautiful bouquet.
"I have a feeling these are for someone truly special," she said with a giggle. "I'll give you a discount, but don't tell my boss. It'll only be five dollars." Izuku smiled softly and handed her a five dollar bill.
"Thank you so much," he mumbled, taking the flowers.
"Hey, call me sometime if you need love advice," she said with a smile. "My name's Ochaco." She held out her phone. Izuku put in his number, and she nodded. "Nice to meet you!" He nodded and smiled before walking out of the store feeling confident and excited. He was going to get Katsuki to say yes, whatever happened!
He entered their dorm room a couple minutes later, seeing Katsuki sitting on his bed wearing Izuku's clothes while reading a book. He chuckled softly and hid the flowers behind his back. He didn't know where Eijiro was, but he didn't want to worry about that right then. It was easier to ask Katsuki out without the redhead peering over his shoulder.
"Oh, hi Izuku," Katsuki said softly, looking up from his book. "I was wondering where you were. You just kind of disappeared. Eijiro went to the cafeteria to see if you went to get something to eat. We were kind of worried." Katsuki cocked his head and stood up. "What are you hiding behind your back?"
