April wanted me to wait outside with Vern since she didn't want me to go in and mess it up for her, even though I'm just trying to help her out.
It's fine anyways, I saved her ass, and not even a thank you.
April walked out with a box of her stuff, and tears in her eyes, I quickly walked over to her, and touched her arms. "What happened?" I quickly asked her.
"I got fired." She sniffled.
I glared up at the building, and was about to go in, but she quickly grabbed my wrist. "Y/n don't make things worse, please." She begged, I stared at her for a moment. "Fine." I rolled my eyes.
I looked over to see Vern staring at April. "O'Neil!" He said walking over with a deep sigh. "It could've been worse." He said. I slapped my head at his dumb saying. "I just got fired, Vern. How could it be worse?" She said.
"Maybe it's good. Maybe you should take a little time, to take care of yourself. Come on, let me give you a ride." He gestured for us to get in.
"Not unless you're going to the Eric Sacks estate." April slowly backed up, as I followed her.
"April...hey." Vern stopped her.
"I'm not giving up on this story." She shook her head. I rolled my eyes, as Vern stood in front of her. "You've gotta put that to bed." Vern said.
"But all of those other great reporters that you worked with, would they have 'put it to bed?'" April shot back at him.
"That's different." Vern put his hands in his back pockets.
"How is it different?" I questioned.
"They all started exactly where I am, right?" April told Vern, as he stayed quiet for a moment.
Vern sighed, and looked at me, grabbing the box out of Aprils hands. "I'm not driving the Channel 6 news van into the Sacks estate." He said pointing at the van.
"Who asked you to do that?" April said, as I followed them to the van. "Uh, you did. You know a thanks would have been nice." He said.
"Maybe one day you're gonna be thanking us." I gestured between April and I, as I got in the van in the middle.
"So, what do you want with Eric Sacks?" Vern asked buckling up his seatbelt.
"Our dad used to work for him. Buckle up Y/n." April touched my arm, as I rolled my eyes, buckling up.
"He's the only person that's gonna be able to tell me, whether or not she's crazy." I whispered to Vern, as April hit my arm.
"Crazy about what?" Vern asked.
"I don't need you to laugh at me also." April said glaring at me.
"Oh, come on, O'Neil. This is the Fenwick Express. It's a...judgment-free zone. A cocoon of safety."
"Promise?" April looked at him with hope in her eyes.
"I'm insulted that you would suggest otherwise." Vern started the engine and drove off, as April explained.

The turtles all struggled to keep their balance as they did the Ha'shi.
"Ooh, 11 hours in the Hs'shi. Are you sure none of you want to tell me where you were last night?" Master Splinter walked around watching the turtles struggle.
"How you holding up, fellas?" Raphael tried to change the subject but was quickly replaced with a grunt, when Splinter hit his foot with his tail, that was balancing on an little bike.
