[3 Days Later]

Belle rolled on her side on the bed. She was at the hotel with Eric. He was sleeping peacefully, and it was nighttime. It was odd to see him sleeping like this. She studied the features on his face. The strong Viking features gave him that edge about him. She had been busy the past few days, juggling working at Merlotte's and then working the case. They were managing the timeline well enough; it just took time to pinpoint all of Andy's locations. They had kept their suspicion to themselves, not wanting to upset Bud quite yet. They had to gather that evidence if there was any. When she couldn't sit still any longer, she got out of bed, pulling on the robe that she brought with her, and tied it around her waist. She grabbed her pack of cigarettes from her bag. She had done good to not smoke for a few days now, but right now her mind was too active. She stepped outside and lit her cigarette, and stared out into the darkness. She thought about that night, repeatedly. She saw Adele before she got a strange feeling, and then the flashes. It meant that Andy had to at least be nearby. The door opened, and Eric leaned against the frame.

"You're outside smoking." Eric said, crossing his arms. His chest was bare.

"Can't sleep." She said and put the cigarette out and looked at him. "You normally don't sleep at night."

"I know." Eric said with a nod. "I think it's the switch up with hours. I have to rest sometime, and well." He said and then reached a hand for her, grabbing hers. "Come back inside." He murmured.

Belle went back inside with Eric, and he pulled her against him, his mouth covering hers, his hands untied her robe, letting it fall to the floor and she was naked now before him. A few moments later, Eric's phone buzzed, and he reached over to the nightstand to see a text from Pam. He was needed at the club. He hadn't even told Pam about his day walking capabilities, and somehow that made him feel back. Pam was his prodigy. His child for all intents and purposes. She deserved some sort of truth. She already didn't like Belle, but that was because she felt alone now. He would have to make it up to her somehow. He slid out of bed carefully, and got dressed. He took one last look at Belle's sleeping face, before he left, going back to Fangtasia.

[The next morning]

Belle woke to am empty bed, but she knew that Eric had responsibilities in Shreveport at Fangtasia, so it didn't bother her. She got up and got dressed and checked out of the motel, before heading in to Merlotte's. When she got there, she walked in and went to the bar like normal. Sam came in from the back.
