[2 Months Later: Merlotte's]

Belle poured a few drinks and slid them over to Sookie. Things were getting back to normal, or whatever normal was in Bon Temp now. Belle was showing a bump, and according to all the doctor's this accelerated pregnancy was putting her around 20 weeks pregnant, and she was having a boy. She stooped down and lifted a tray with some glasses on it and got a frown from Sam when he walked up.

"You shouldn't be bending and lifting." Sam said, and helped her with the glasses.

Belle raised a brow. "Sam, I'm pregnant, not disabled." She said and got a little laugh from Sookie when she walked over.

"Belle, I need two whiskies, on the rocks please." Sookie sang with a smile. She was one of the happiest girls in Bon Temp right now. Her and Jasper took a little leap, and decided to do the relationship thing, and they finally were intimate last night, and Sookie was just beaming with happiness.

Belle nodded, and got those drinks prepared for her, sliding them across the bar. "It's busy tonight." She commented.

"Well, it's that rodeo that is in town." Sam said. "People are bound to get rowdy tonight. Jasper will be here earlier than normal to help with the bar." He said. "And Emmett is coming to unload the truck for me."

After two months, people got used to seeing vampires in Merlotte's, thought most people didn't realize Jasper was a vampire because he was able to walk around during the day. He didn't drink True Blood at the bar, and he was always seen with Sookie, especially during the day.

Eric on the other hand, had to be careful where he showed himself outside the shadows. He was well known in the area of being the Area Sheriff for Shreveport and surroundings areas like Bon Temp. So, he was only seen around Bon Temp, at night. Those that were close to Eric and Belle, knew the circumstances of the pregnancy, but those that didn't, just thought that Belle used a surrogate.

Things were stifling at the bar sometimes for Sookie and Belle because they had to listen to everyone's thoughts. Especially when it got out that Belle and Eric were involved, even with her being pregnant, people jumped to conclusions, but people like Hoyt, Jason, and Rene, would shut them down. Hoyt even stood up to his mother, which was something both brave, and bold.

When darkness blanketed the bar, Eric was there. He went to the bar, and leaned across and kissed Belle softly, before patting Jason on the back, and taking a seat next to Rene.

"Aren't you needed at Fangtasia tonight?" Belle asked, fixing a True Blood for Eric.

"No, Longshadow and Pam are handling some things. The rodeo here is just too entertaining to pass up." Eric said with a slight smile.

Charlie walked in, finally off the clock and took a seat at the bar, putting a hand on Eric's shoulder. "Hey, haven't seen you in a bit. How's things over in Shreveport?" He asked Eric as he sat.

"Pretty well. Bill is running some errands for me over in Mississippi, we discovered where the blood was being trafficked in from." Eric responded and then Belle sat the True Blood in front of him.

"That's good." Charlie said and looked at his daughter and smiled. "Just a beer Belle ." He said with a nod.

Belle smiled and fixed her dad a beer and set it in front of him, and then refilled Jason and Hoyt's glasses.

Arlene was a little flustered, tears pooling in her eyes as she came up to the bar between Eric and Charlie. "Belle, can I get...a whiskey, dry. Please." She sniffed.

Belle frowned and so did Rene. "What's wrong?" She asked gently.

"It's nothing, just tonight is a bust." She didn't understand why she was so emotional.
