United We Stand

The World Needs Sunshine

The world has sunshine

But with its sunny days

come rainy nights.

And as people create

barriers that separates

communities from 

one another,

Arranging themselves by

family, creed, or color.

We fill each other with hate, but yet

We don't seemed to be 

Bothered

That its not right,

not fair,

and unjust,

But yet people have 

bonds built on disloyal 

Trust.

Some lie, some cheat

some manipulate to

get by.

But little do they know

that the truth

Never Dies.

Instead of being honest

We spread lies.

Instead of helping the poor

we fill our Greed

with riches, 

always hungry for more.

But if we lift each other

up and give others a chance.

For a first we might

not care about ourselves but 

give others a glance.

If we start now

its not too late.

But giving a little 

sunshine

is all it takes.
