I'm so sorry I wasn't thinking-" Ranboo was cut off short by Heart bringing him down to meet his lips again. It felt like bliss, full of passion and love. "Ranboo I think I like you, no I don't think I know." Heart said, cringing not only at the cliché sentence but at the thought of rejection. "I like you too, more than friends," Ranboo said, placing his hand under the smaller's chin bringing their faces to meet his, their lips gently connecting again, a soft smile planted on both of the boy's faces.

"Yo Heart, could you get Tom and Fred out of the water? We should probably go, we are gonna have a big day tomorrow!"

Heart nodded and ran down to meet the water's edge, calling out the boys' names, only for them to not hear, he waddled into the water, the edge of his pant legs getting wet

As Heart and Ranboo walked home, they heard quiet snickering coming from behind. Ranboo turned around to face Tommy and Tubbo, only to follow their gaze towards his hand loosely intertwined with The 5'5 boy's Ranboo didn't dare say anything, too scared to ruin the peace and comfort he felt with the other brunette.

Heart felt strangely comforted. He knew their hands were joined, but he didn't want to disturb the peace so he left his hand there, softly intertwined with Ranboo's.

A group near the Airbnb, the group of boys saw Aimsey and Niki sprint straight past them to the house, giggling as they ran. 'I wonder what they're up to' Ranboo muttered. 'Hm,' Tubbo sighed in agreement. Heart then pulled out his phone, typing a message and sending it to Ranboo. They needed to talk. For God's sake, they had just met each other two days ago, and it already confessed their feelings. What does this mean for the relationship going forward? Were they going to date? Were they just going to ignore what happened? It was going to be a hard conversation, but it needed to happen.

Once they arrived at the Airbnb. Heart dragged Ranboo to their room. Ranboo knew it was going to be a serious conversation. He knew they needed to talk about 'it' as well. He just didn't want to ruin what was already there. But they also knew that this could be the foundation for a bigger and better relationship between the two.

"Ranboo, we need to talk," Heart said as he shut the door.

" I understand that, but can you hear me out first?" Ranboo said, he was sweating, maybe it was the heat, maybe it was the pressure. "I like you Heart and I want this relationship to be more, I would like to give dating a go and I completely understand if you're not ready for that but just know, I will be waiting for you."

"Listen, Ranboo, I just don't want to ruin this friendship or whatever this is, we've only known each other for a short amount of time, but I would also love to give dating a go"

"If we did give dating a go, we would have to set some boundaries, some rules. My last relationship was a bit of a mess and I don't particularly want to rush into this one. I think we should take it slow, at a comfortable pace."

"You're completely right with that. I don't want to rush into a relationship either, but if we don't give it a go now, then we probably won't have an opportunity like this again." Heart said fiddling with his fingers. "With that being said Ranboo, would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Would I like to? I'd love to!" Ranboo said, lightning the room a little.

"Okay, let's go back to the others. Can we keep this normal though? Like we were before?" Heart didn't want anything to change, it was great before, now it can be perfect.

The date went swimmingly, Heart took Ranboo to a run-down mall, where a picnic was waiting for them. Ranboo couldn't sit still, he had always had this 'weird obsession' with abandoned malls, fascinated by an old, nearly destroyed building. Heart didn't mind, they found it cute. The way their wide eyes explored every inch of the place, not once losing interest.

Yesssss! Heart with the first move! I hope the story's not moving too quickly, I hate books where they are 'just friends' for practically the whole book but anyway, I'm sorry I haven't given you a chapter in a while but here it is! Mental health has been down but writing helped a little. :D
