"Stop! I need the lord today." Railyn said as she fanned herself. I furrowed my eyebrows at her.
"Why?"
"I just seen this sexy guy walk past us when we bumped into you. I knew right then who she was talking about. I got a bit mad cause I liked him, but I can't make him not seem like he was un godly.
"Oh you're talking about Jose." I said.
"Yeah! How'd you know?"
"I have a class with him."
"Did you guys talk? I bet he spoke that Mexican to you."
For Raylin to be really smart in school she is really dumb. Why on good god earth do these girls think it's called "Speaking Mexican". Its really stupid and that's a race not a damn language. I shook my head and tapped her. "It's called Spanish and no, all he did was stare and smile. I don't think including him waking me up from my sleep counts." I was beginning to get irritated.
"Do you think you guys hit it off ?" She said extremely close to my face. I palmed her away about 5 inches. "No, he has a girlfriend. "
"How do you know that?" I was getting tired of the questions. "When we were staring at each other, he was about to say something, but his phone rung and it was his girl." I walked to my locker and stuffed my books in.
"Oh, too bad you wont be getting no spice in your soul today." She wiggled her eyebrows at me. What is wrong with her.
"Did you guys forget I was here?" Nick said with his eyebrow raised and walking in front of Raylin. I smile and give him a hug.
"No, I didn't, but hey how's home and your dad?"
He didn't really seem to want to talk about it, I don't blame him.
"Besides being ignored everyday and not being good enough like my NFL brother, I'm good." He looked tired.
Nick has an older brother who plays pro football, ever since his mom passed, his dad has always put he under his brother. His dad worships him and willing gives him everything. Nick has to work and beg his dad for simple things. It makes me mad cause I think no son should have to do that, especially with a father.
"You're a senior, soon you won't have to deal with that. Get ghost as soon as you can." I told him.
"Guys I'm not feeling school, wanna skip?" Nick said.
Raylin looked at him with slight confusion. "You never skip, you're the one who preaches to us about coming to school, but now all of a sudden you Nick Laney wants to skip?"
"Yes, I mean why not bend the rules and have fun...screw my dad and school for a day."
"I don't know what's gotten into you, but I like it." I said smiling hard. We were walking along the hallways until there was a minute before the bell rung. We decided to make a plan.
"Okay, when the bell rings Raylin and I are going into the girl's bathroom until the bell rings and you are going into the boys. I'll text you to confirm.
"What if we get caught?" He said. I looked up and scratched my head. "We run like three crackheads."
The bell rung and we sped walked to the restrooms. Raylin and I took a stall and waited five minutes. The halls were quiet, so I texted Nick.
Me: Coast is clear get ready.
Nick: Okay, wait can we get food when we leave I'm hungry.
Me: Sure, I don't care.
Nicky: Taco bell sounds good.
Me: Nick we can choose food when we are out of school, goodbye.
