Take This Next Door

Ashley POV

After we left Taco Bell I dropped off my friends and headed home. Nick got the girl's number and has a date. I know all on the first day. Raylin harassed Nick the whole ride to her house and I almost got a ticket because Raylin wants to shout at hot guys on the sidewalks by the beach.

I was exhausted. I got out my car and went inside. I didn't see anyone so I went upstairs to my room. I kicked off my shoes and hoppes onto my bed. I closed my eyes. I wasn't asleep right off, I forgot to set my alarm on my car. I opened my eyes and my brother was staring at me. I could feel his nose on mine. I screamed on the top my lungs and fell out of the bed.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I screamed at him I threw my shoe at his face, but he dodged it I heard a thud, and he was on the floor clutching his stomach from laughing to hard.

"Chill out." He said finishing his last laughs. "Mom told me to tell you before she left to take the Red Velvet Cake next door to The Fernandos."

My heart raced and I forgot about Jose, and how he lived next door. I didn't wanna go. What if I made a fool of myself? Oh my god...What if I fart? I got off the floor and brushed myself off. I went over to Ashton and punched him.

"Ow! you little runt, what was that for?" He said as he rubbed his shoulder. I narrowed my eyes at him. "For scaring me and making me fall off my bed .....TWICE TODAY!" I grabbed him by the shirt and pushed him out.

"I'm telling mom!" He said as I slammed my door. I just walked away and went to my closet. I smelled like car and a taco joint. It was not the best mixture. I pulled out some black yoga pants and a PINK brand tank top with my nike slim fit shoes.

I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth, put my hair in a ponytail and got dressed. I walked down stairs into the kitchen. I saw Ashton stuffing his face into some chips.

I got my bottle of water from the fridge and the cake. I walked towards the door, threw the bottle at his head and ran out. I went to Jose's house and rung the doorbell.

I waited about a minute before he came downstairs and answered the door. He had on no shirt...I think I choked on my tongue. My heart fluttered a little bit and I just stood there and I raped him. He raised an eyebrow and stared back. I finally caught my words.

"Hey, ummm.. My mom wanted me to bring this over. A "Welcome to the Neighborhood" gift. He grabbed the cake and moved out from in front of the doorway. "Come in."

I walked in and his house was amazing. The living area had an all white large sectional with a shiny white fireplace with sterling sliver linings. The stairs were spiral, two on both sides of the house. There was a large crystal chandilar hanging from above. The floors were marble tiles and all white carpet throughout the sitting area.

He walked me towards the kitchen and it was just as beautiful. All the latest appliances and steel refrigerator. The kitchen was black themed. He sat the cake on the table and cleared his throat.

"Hey, thanks for the cake, I'll tell my parents when they come back." He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah, your welcome. I gotta go, I'm gonna go for a run." I turned around to leave when he grabbed my arm.

"Hey, I'm sorry for making you fall."

"It's okay I was busy running from school assholes."

"Yeah, umm do you wanna chill I'm kind of bored and im alone. You don't have to go for a run I have workout room in the back."

I stretched my eyes. I could get used to this. I lied about the run I just wanted him to watch me as I left. My mouth unknowingly was open shocked.
