‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ ☽༓・*˚⁺‧School's out. Summer is in. It was a sunny morning, no clouds, and no cars. Well, except for one.
"Are you as excited as I am?" said Jay while driving the car. "A whole summer away from my sister. Now I can use the bathroom whenever I want." he chuckled. He had on his swim trunks already from having plans to go down to the beach.
"Don't make me slam your head into that steering wheel," I replied, "I'm not excited at all. I can't believe mom and dad are making me go to this stupid camp."
"You put this on yourself y/n. Maybe if you weren't such a spoiled brat, you wouldn't have to be attending this behavioral camp. I can't imagine going to a summer camp to learn how to behave."
"Maybe if you weren't such a spoiled brat you wouldn't have to meh neh neh," I mocked.
"See y/n? This is exactly why you're being sent to this camp. You're 17, act like it." Jay said as he turned the car off the highway.
"Maybe if mom and dad were better parents I wouldn't be in this position right now," I laughed, "It's hilarious to me how they think a summer camp will change anything."
"Hey, mom and dad are great parents. They did a fine job with me," he bragged. Jay has straight A's, a part time job, and a full scholarship to the university he's wanted to go to ever since he was a kid. He always bragged about it to me.
"Whatever," I rolled her eyes.
We pass the camp overview sign and drive down a long driveway surrounded by tall pine trees. Jay pulls into a parking space and stops the car but keeps the engine going.
"'Redrum Camp', huh, weird name. Well, good luck," he said as I got out of the car, slightly slamming the door.
"If you need anything, call me. Oh wait, you can't have phones!" he laughed.
"You're so lucky I'm holding my bags right now, or else you would be dead."
"I'm sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you over me driving away," as he turned the corner.
Ugh, he's so annoying. He should be the one coming to this stupid camp.
I started walking through the paved pathways. All there was around me were small rustic benches and tall trees. The whole place was huge. I got lost as I kept walking around. It was so quiet, I thought she might be the only one there.
Finally, I found a building. No one inside though. This building better give me some sort of directions, or I'm walking home. I walked around the building and found a bulletin board with names and assigned cabins. I started searching through all the cabins for my name so I at least know where I'm sleeping.
Y/n.. y/n.. oh, right there. Blue cabin. At least I have a good cabin color.
I started exiting the building with little information, but it's more than I had when I arrived. I closed the door and looked to my left and kept walking. I stopped to look which way to head...BAM!
"Ouch!" I yelled.
"Hey, watch it," the guy said. He wore black sweatpants and a grayish hoodie with a cap on backwards. He was pretty tall and had black hair.
"Open your eyes next time," I rolled her eyes at him.
"Excuse me? Oh, you're new, you don't know any better." He said.
"Excuse me?? 'Don't know any better'?" I laughed to myself, "At least I'm not wearing a snapback in 2024," I muttered under my breath, just enough so he could somewhat hear my insult.
