yerin pov.

after a not so long but still tiring flight , we finally arrived at jeju island . we could instantly feel the different breeze and the fresh air in here , compared to the busy streets of seoul .

we rode a bus to our hotels . it wasn't luxurious, but it wasnt bad either . it was comfy , and big enough for 3 people . my roomates are dayeon and yuna  , so i was relieved i didnt have to room with complete strangers.

after unpacking our luggages and looking around the room , we were called downstairs to eat lunch in the hotel cafe before starting our activities.

i sat in the cafe with matthew , hanbin and hanni . i was told that gyuvin , ricky and junhyeon was roomates which worried me a bit , knowing gyuvin and ricky werent exactly buddies... at least junhyeon is there to ease the tension, right ?

my thoughts were cut off by the teacher announcing the activities and what we'll look forward to.

first , we'll go bungee jumping (for those who dare), then we'll visit a museum and check out the ocean . at last , we will be seperated in groups and take turns to go to the highly anticipated haunted house.

we finished our lunches and were now headed to our first destination , bungee jumping .

the bungee jumping was in pairs , so they would hug each other tightly as they jump down, which honestly seemed like a kdrama cliche ...

gyuvin pov.

"we already registered , we cant back out now!" i was trying to convince junhyeon , who looked like he was about to throw up any second now .

"im really sorry gyuvin , but i will actually die if i jump off from that thing..." junhyeon gagged in between his words , being the overdramatic person he is .

"okay well  i cant jump myself... i need a partner" i said , scratching my head .

junhyeon looked at me and pointed to the right , where yerin was , sitting on a bench and spacing out.

"no , she's really scared of heights" i argued

"i'm sure she'll do it if its with you!" junhyeon ran towards yerin before i could argue more

since junhyeon isn't jumping, i approached the teacher and told him about the situation , and that i didnt have a partner to jump with .

suddenly, a high pitched feminine voice from behind me said "i'll do it! i'll jump with him."

i looked back to see yoon juwon who was widely smiling , volunteering herself to jump with me.

i wasn't against it. i dont like juwon that way anymore so the sight of her didnt hurt me and i really wanted to experience bungee jumping once before i die, so why not?

the teacher was going to write down juwon's name in the list as my partner when his hand was stopped by none other than yerin .

she let go of his hand and gave a 90 degree bow, then cleared her throat. "i would like to be gyuvin's partner." was the words that came out of her mouth.

the teacher looked at me and said "it's up to you who you wanna jump with."

of course i chose yerin.

as we were walking towards the lift to go up, i could see juwon's bitter face filled with pure anger.

when we were halfway up, i could see yerin trembling in fear . i held her hand to calm her down a bit, and it worked.

yerin pov.

we were now tying the ropes together so we dont fall down to our death. the moment i reached the top , i could see the long distance all the way from the bottom. i felt like puking everytime i looked down.

why did i do this? i was regretting my life choices at that moment.

the crew informed us, "we will push you in 3...2.....

"did you volunteer yourself because you were jealous?" gyuvin whispered close to my ear

"1!"

we immediately went flying down and i was screaming my lungs out, meanwhile gyuvin was having fun and spreading his arms wide open.

once the swinging calmed down , i finally got a moment to breathe in and out and enjoy the view.

it wasn't as bad as i thought. maybe not with kim gyuvin doing it with me.

we got out of the ropes and we are now finally back on the ground.

"how was it? not bad right?" gyuvin was giggling at my sweaty, red face

i wiped of the sweat on my forehead and said, "never.again."

people were already going back in the bus to go to our next location: the museum.
