Chongyun POV:

Something weird is happening to me...

Whenever I'm with Xingqiu... I get this weird feeling... I don't know how to describe it

Should I tell Xiangling about it? No, she would just tease me! But... if it's my only option...

Third person POV:

Chongyun arrived at Xiangling's doorstep and knocked on the door.

"Chongyun? I thought we weren't meeting up today" Xiangling said as she let Chongyun inside. They went up to her room.

"I need to talk to you about something"

"Ohh? What is it?" She asked

Chongyun explained the situation to her.

"I would say... you're in love! Who's the lucky girl?" Xiangling looked excited.

"A girl?"

"So they're not a girl? They're a guy?" Chongyun nods after she says that "Is it Xingqiu?" She adds.

Chongyun's face goes red.

"Oh my archons!! It is!" She squealed in excitement.

"It's not!" He yelled.

"It definitely is!" She yelled back.

Chongyun sighs. "Fine... I think I like Xingqiu... Happy now?"

"Very happy! Do you think he likes you back?"

"Not sure." Chongyun takes out a popsicle (i'm very tempted to say ice lolly) "However, he kissed my forehead yesterday"

Xiangling pauses. "HE WHAT?!?!"

"He thought I was asleep, he doesn't know that I know he kissed me"

"HE DEFINITELY LIKES YOU BACK"

"You think so?"

"Yeah! Ask him out!"

"But it'll be so awkwardddd" He whined

"Bestie, that's the least of your problems-"

Chongyun face-planted into Xiangling's bed.

Chongyun POV:

"Now's not the right time..." I said, sitting up and leaning on her shoulder.

"Why not?" She asked, leaning her head on mine.

"He thinks I still like you" I pout slightly.

"I wonder why," She sighed "You still hold my hand and lean on my shoulder. I know you mean it in a friend way, but he doesn't."

Xiangling POV:

I remember those days like they were yesterday, even though it was a year ago. The truth is, me and Chongyun were dating, we had been for a few months. We were so happy together... we just... understood each other. That's how I knew he'd understand what I had to tell him.

It was an icy winter morning. Me and Chongyun were holding hands while walking down the street.

"Chongyun?" I asked, a lump in my throat.

"Yes? Is something wrong?"

"I- don't think-" I tried to get the words out, but I couldn't.

He smiled "Take your time" He squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"I don't think I like guys anymore..."

There was a moment of awkward silence then he hugged me.

"Thank you for being honest, I'm proud of you for being able to tell me this," I smiled "I have a favour to ask you"

"What is it, Chongyun?"

"One last kiss?"

I nodded as our lips met for the last time.

For the first time ever, I had someone to support me.
