Origin: Their ancestors used to be Kitsunes and Ōkamis but after the humans started to forget or loose faith in the gods, their purpose of representing their gods and guarding their shrines was lost and so they decided to settle down in a forest together, far away from humanity. Years and years passed, their spiritual forms slowly fading away. Their new merged forms were now called Kitsumi and thus, this species was now born.
Powers: The common powers they possess are inhuman strength, agility and seductive powers that brainwash people into doing whatever they want. However, these powers only stay until they find their soulmate. Once they make eyecontact with them, their powers just vanish.
Weaknesses: If they find their soulmate, their powers are sealed away and they can't do anything about that, what's even worse is that they will now suffer from a disease called "hanahaki", they will cough up flower petals until their love is returned. In some cases this never happens and then they will slowly suffocate to death.
Characteristics: They are very friendly to each other except for strangers, they will mostly never be able to trust outsiders too much. They do not use their powers for evil.
Anatomy: They all have Fox or Wolf like ears and tails. They can have up to 9 tails max but that is only genetic. It does not show their power anymore. The colors of their fur, hair and eyes can vary very differently. From rainbow colored, to a monotone color and to diffrent patterns. The rest is exactly like a human except for the nose sometimes. It is possible to have a more animal like nose.
Reproduction: They reproduce just like normal humans and animals would, by intercourse and then birthing a child from the mother's womb.
