Chapter 7.a fun day

First we went to the park and sat under the willow tree. I wanted to take my sandals off and run through the grassy field in front of us, but then dan and phil would think I'm crazy, then I started to hear faint music. "Does...anyone hear that?" I asked. "The music?" Said dan. "Yeah." "where's it coming from?" "Wanna find out?" "Yeah, let's go!" Said phil. We walked over towards the music and it got louder and louder. We found the spot where the music was coming from, it was a beautiful lake with a small waterfall on the other side. My eyes lit up and I smiled kneeling down and looking into the clear and shiny water. "Wow!" I said in amazement as I got up walking around the amazing lake surrounded by more willow trees with all different colored flowers. Nearby there was a picnic basket on top of a blanket. I went over and the blanket was as smooth as silk. I ran my hand over it multiple times. "Like it Sam?" Asked dan. "You made this?" I asked. "Yep, we both did." I smiled. "I-it's amazing. I'm speechless!" I said. They both smiled and walked over towards me. We all sat down on the blanket and dan got out the food while me and phil talked. "It's been amazing being with you sam!" Said phil. "Same here," I chirped. "I love you guys! Your both awesome people!" I hugged phil then dan and there faces turned red. I giggled and grabbed a ham sandwich. "You guys are really great cooks, cause these are great!" I said while eating my sandwich. "I actually tasted better." said phil. "Well, not me." I said. We ate our lunch and dan helped me up off the ground. "C'mon! We gotta do more stuff before the party!" Said phil. "Okay, what are we waiting for?" I asked. We got up and we got into their car. I sat next to phil in the back while dan drove. Next up, we drove to a movie theater. Dan focused on the road while me and phil talked.

"You like the day so far Sam?"

"Yeah! I loved the lake and the picnic! That was so fun!"

"You really thought so?"

"Yeah!"

I smiled.

"We're here!" Said dan. "Okay!" I said getting out of the car. I looked and saw the movie theater. "Ooh!a movie!" I said happily. We walked inside. "What movie we gonna see?" I asked. "Deanne and Karin said you like horror movies so we can go see one of them!" Said Phil. "Alright!" We walked inside.

"That was really good!" I said walking out of the movie with them. "Y-yeah, it was g-great." Stuttered dan. "You okay?" I asked cocking my head. "He's just scared after the movie." Said Phil with a smirk. "No I'm not!" Said Dan. "Aww." I said getting on my toes and ruffling his hair. He blushed. "Where to next?" I asked. "The party!" Said Dan. "Yay! Let's get ready!" I said and we went back to the apartment to get ready.
