Satoru Gojo is an enigma. On a base level, he might be easy to understand - he has absolute disregard for his seniors, prancing about Tokyo without a care in the world, and he doesn't buy souvenirs on business trips. (how scandalous!)

But to the people who take the time to understand him...it's still pretty much the same, just worded differently and made more compelling.

So it would come as a surprise to anyone that Satoru hasn't jumped around asking people for their numbers, because now he's found solace in you. And while that may sound sweet - and a relief to the people he's been pestering since day one - it would not come as a surprise to anyone that he's taken joy in annoying you instead. Surprisingly, you have no qualms with it.

"I'm just that charming, darling," Is what Satoru had told you on your first date, which wasn't even a date. It was supposed to be your solo mission that he wanted to tag along for the sake of exploring Akihabara.

The clock ticks in time with your foot tapping against the foot of the couch. The lounge in Tokyo Jujutsu High is surprisingly empty - Principal Yaga would come and crochet his cursed stuffies from time to time, even Mei Mei would stop by and run her mouth about anything and everything. It's only you, your thoughts, and the ever-growing frustration of waiting for Satoru to come back from his mission like he promised.

Punctuality was never his strong suit.

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting." The childish voice of Satoru Gojo suddenly terrorizes your ears, and you nearly jump. It's sometimes eerie seeing a ridiculously tall man with blindfolded eyes and striking white hair standing there with a lopsided grin on his face, but you've grown used to it. Satoru at least knows how to make an entrance flashy.

But you relent, glancing at the clock then back at Satoru with a pointed glare on your face. "You said you'd be back at 3:30. And what time is it?"

The clock clearly reads 4:45. Satoru only chuckles, though you know he's a bit bashful now. "Must've lost track of time. I'm really sorry, darling, but duty calls."

For all his unpredictability and spontaneity, Satoru knows when to be honest. And you believe that he feels the least bit terrible for leaving you hanging this long. That only earns him a sigh from you. "You do need to practice being on time, 'Toru. My patience doesn't wear this thin this fast. You really are doing something to me."
