Chasing Dreams

Chapter 1

Life is full of surprises, have you ever had a feeling that something is missing in your life? have you ever wondered about fate and coincidence? A certain emotion which makes us feel the presence of a loved one. Love is a magical feeling that everyone feels however only few are able to find their soulmate; Our story begins in Vancouver Canada a young man is staring at the sky aimlessly in thoughts as he wonders, 'I don't even know what I have taken, I just need the pain to be numbed... I wish I could turn back time and change things... nothing will ever be the same again'. The story flashes back to eight month ago as Lucas's life was perfect with his friends, fans and having happiness. Theo was doing some beatboxing with his mouth as he says, "so dude, I passed the talent test!". Lucas says, "never do that again, Theo...". Theo says, "don't hate the player, hate the game". Lucas chuckles before someone comes over and interrupts them saying, "hey guys!". Jessica says, "tonight's the last gig in Canada before we head out for our Europe tour, we'd better rock out tonight!". Theo says, "we got this, every time Jess!". Lucas agrees saying, "from the hype we've got with this gig, tonight is going to be huge!". Jessica says, "it is". Harry says, "then Europe here we come!". Melissa says, "the Europe tour is going to be amazing". Jessica says, "tickets are selling hot and fast, this tour is huge". Jessica calls out, "Nadine, get everyone's drink ready!". Nadine says, "right away, Jessica". Jessica says, "Lucas you're on stage in twenty minutes". Theo winks and nods flirtingly as Jessica rolls her eyes saying, "don't forget you have a meet and greet with the fan's backstage after, please for god's sake try to behave Theo! I swear you are going to be the death of me". Jessica leaves as Theo says, "you know bro, she's always picking on me! and I'm sorry but if someone reeks then I am going to tell them!". Lucas says, "I think it was the way you told them, Theo!". 

Theo asks, "so there's a nice way to tell someone they stink?". Lucas sighs saying, "better to say nothing than insult someone...". Theo says, "I had a valid point man, that crazy woman kept trying to kiss me". Just then a voice calls out, "daddy!". Theo says, "Harry, Melissa let's go check the crowd from the curtain?". A small girl runs and jumps onto Lucas who lifts her and embraces her warmly. Lucas says, "hey Princess". Chloe says, "daddy, I w-went sc-school". Lucas says, "well done Princess, I am so proud of you...". She gets down as Giselle says, "why don't you go finish your daddy's drawing, darling?". Chloe nods excitedly and runs over to the table as Lucas says, "hey my sexy girl!". Giselle hugs Lucas saying, "I love you Lucas Harrison and I am going to miss you so much, we both are". Giselle says, "Chloe did so well at pre-school today, she was so brave and went in without tears". Lucas says, "that's my girl, she's growing up so fast". Giselle says, "we just wanted to say goodbye and also wish you luck, it's not that you need it babe". Lucas blushes hearing his wife praise him as Lucas says, "we are all excited, I wish you and Chloe could join me". 

Giselle says, "I know babe, me too". Chloe comes over with her painting as Giselle says, "wow, you did amazing... babe she wants you to take it on the tour". Lucas takes it saying, "it's too valuable, I will put it in my guitar case and always have it with me". Chloe kisses her daddy's cheek as he says, "I promise to phone you everyday". Giselle says, "you better, babe! I will miss you like crazy". Chloe goes to the corner to do some more coloring as Giselle says, "I have some news to share with you, babe... I wanted to let you know before you left". Giselle hands him a small silver box with a bow as he asks curiously, "what's this?". He opens to see a pregnancy strip along with a pair of little trainers. Lucas says, "no way!". Giselle was a bit worried about her husband's reaction however Lucas says, "baby, you're pregnant! We're going to have another baby!". Lucas lifts Giselle into his arm and spins her happily as she says, "I'm feeling a little dizzy". Lucas puts her down caressing her cheeks lovingly before they share a passionate kiss. He then puts her forehead on his as they stare into each other's eyes. Lucas says, "baby, I love you so much". Giselle says, "I love you more". Lucas asks, "how did I get so damn lucky to have you? you're my soulmate". Giselle says, "no one is luckier than me". Just then Nadine comes over with a flirty look in her eyes and on her lips. Giselle gives Nadine a cold glare as Lucas looks her asking, "what do you want, Nadine?". Nadine answers, "ooh I made your drink, handsome... I mean Lucas".
