Minho

A hero, I was a hero, your hero. That's what you whispered in my ears when my body fell next to yours, exhausted after the effort I just made. Your murmurs in my ear sent me a thousand shivers in my whole being. I closed my eyes, enjoying your presence while you were in my arms, your head in the hollow of my neck. I loved you, I still do. You were sleeping by my side while I was in heaven.

But today I was scared I couldn't be your hero anymore, because today, I left you,  I haven't had a choice. My father needed me. But knowing you, alone on the white sand of this beach was scaring me. I was afraid of what state I was going to find you in.

In reality this morning when I rang your doorbell, it was with a big smile that you opened the door. You whispered a thank you that I didn't understand, a thank you which hold everything you wished to tell me.

Because that night, for the first time in so long, you had observed the waves and you had loved them.
