I'm stuck in a phobia

Christopher

I didn't know what to tell you, not even how. Even if I tried everything I could to go forward, I was still stuck in my phobia.

I was stuck and couldn't escape

Yet, this morning, while the sun was already hitting hard on the Australian beaches, you joined me and took my hand.

You were saying that today you would be doing it along with me, that you too, would sink in the darkness of the scary sea, that you would help me because it was what you wanted to do more than anything. Help me.

So you let my hand go, and after having taken off the clothes that hid your mesmerizing figure, you slowly walked toward the blue field.

Then, you looked at me, the water already reaching your thighs, encouraging me to join you.

That's what I did, but my legs stopped by themselves, anchored to the wet sand, while the foam was dying at my feet.

I couldn't do it.
