Chapter 4
The Love Birds
Reeva and Sachin's days were going very well. Both were getting closer with the passage of time. Both used to sit together in class. Having lunch together. They helped each other with school homework and spent maximum time with each other.
One day Reeva was going towards the canteen to meet Sachin when she noticed Shreya who was completing her homework sitting on her bench. After that incident, Reeva completely stopped talking to Shreya. Just like the previous days, she was ignoring Shreya, when Shreya grabbed her hand from behind.
"Reeva, I know that whatever my brother did that day was wrong and he has been punished for his mistake by being expelled from the school. Yes, I know that he is my brother. But trust me, I had no hand in his conspiracy. I didn't even know that my brother could do all this. So please forgive me and don't ignore me like this."
Shreya said with folded hands.
Reeva also felt sorry for Shreya's condition and she hugged Shreya and said,
"Forgive me Shreya. It's my fault too. I have no right to punish you for your brother's mistake."
After listening to Reeva's words, Shreya extended her hand of friendship towards Reeva. Seeing Reeva felt very good. Later she went to Sachin in the canteen and hugged Sachin and said,
"Thank you, thank you very much. I know you are the one who got Arjun expelled from the school. I never knew that you love me so much. I thought you must be looking at me with disdain like other kids."
Hearing Reeva's words, Sachin started smiling and said,
"That's all I can do for you."
When Sachin and Reeva were hugging, there was someone else in the canteen. Who was totally broke from inside.The person left without saying anything.
Reeva was very happy. Because after all, she too had become someone's girlfriend. Sachin was also happy to have Reeva's company. But he had already explained to Reeva that his first responsibility is his studies and career. So if Reeva ever came in between his studies or career. So he will leave her side forever. Reeva had no objection to his condition. This was the reason that whenever Sachin was studying. So Reeva never bothered him and used to sit and study with him.
