The Divine Resides

Chapter 3

*The scene moves to a emptiness pathway heading towards a village on the far west of the great City Kirkland, the surrounding land is vast of steep dunes of sand. From the distance of the village people can see a gentleman swaying from side to side heading slowly to the village. One of the residents recognises the figure of a man and runs towards him.*

"Kuro-Chi! How are you old friend."

*Kuro-Chi's face is near thin to the bone. He ignores him and proceeds to move towards the village until suddenly he pushes off the village resident and dashes to the village.*

"Finally! Food!"

*The scene closes off from here and opens back to a tavern where Kuro-Chi is seated at a table with the resident and food can be seen covering the whole table, Kuro-Chi is eating.*

"It's quite lucky to be meeting back up again like this, when you left the village last time I thought it was going to be the last time I would ever see you."

*Kuro-Chi continues to eat whilst only setting half of his attention on the other gentleman. Kuro-Chi then says*

"That reminds me of something, I needed to ask you when I first saw you."

*The unknown person replies*

"Yes?"

*Kuro-Chi pulled a serious expression*

"Who are you....?"*Shocked the man replied*

"It's Jake"*Kuro-Chi gives a blank smile and nods*

"Yes, of course it is."

*He goes back towards eating the food with a grin on his face until Jake replied with*

"So what happened? When we found you, you was basically just bone."

*Kuro-Chi gulps down the food and and answers with*

"I've been lost in that deserts for days, I thought I had enough food to last me until I had reached the village but before I knew it all the food had went, haha."

"Thats a bit reckless don't you think? Just think of what could of happened if you didn't make it here."

*Kuro-Chi once again ignored Jake and continued to eat.*

"Wow, you really are packing the food back down, are you sure you're going to be able to pay for it all?"

*Kuro-Chi immediately stops eating and glares at Jake.*

"Wait! Don't tell me you don't have enough money to pay for all this!"
