Today was the day Kasim was going to tell his parents he was gay he was scared out of his mind right now, he was scared that they wouldn't except him hell maybe even kick him out
"You got this big bro" his little sister Keuanna said she already knew that he was gay but she didn't care she loved her brother no matter what
"Whew okay I got this let's go" they both headed downstairs their mother was setting food out on the table while their father was sitting at the table with his usual mug on his face. They sat down at the table
"So how's school keuanna" their mother tameka asked eating some of her food
"Great I joined the art club it's fun" she smiled keuanna was good at drawing
"That ain't gone get you no money or nowhere when you get older" their father Dominique said looking at her with a disappointed look and keuanna looked down at her food frowning
"He's right keuanna" Tameka said agreeing with her husband like she always does everytime he said something
"Yes it will she can sell her paintings and do a lot more things with her talent" Kasim said he always stood up for his sister he knew she wouldn't.
"No one asked you boy" tameka rolled her eyes at her don and continued eating her food
"Anyway I have to tell you guys something" Kasim said looking at the both of his parents and they looked at him with a irritated look on their faces
"What is now" Dominique said sitting his fork down waiting for his son to say what he had to say
"Well um im gay" he said and his mother gasped looking at him disappointed while his father looked at him with a disgusted look
"No the hell you not!, not in my house" Dominique sternly said pushing his food back looking at his son
"He's right not in this house" Tameka rolled her eyes and keuanna looked at her parents shaking her head
"Iam and im s-" he was cut off by his father
"Get up and get out my damn house!" Dominique yelled standing up pulling Kasim out his seat "GO GET YO SHIT" he pushed Kasim near the stairs
"Where imma go da" and Dominique hit him in the stomach Kasim hunched over holding his stomach Dominique kept hitting him while Tameka just stood there watching everything
"DA STOP STOP HES BLEEDING" keuanna cried running over and pushing her dad off her brother she bent down and tried helping him up but Dominique hit him again and pushed Keuanna back
"LIL GIRL MOVE" Tameka came and grabbed Keuanna holding her back as she watched her dad beat her brother
Soon Dominique stopped and ran up the stairs grabbing all of Kasim clothes throwing them downstairs
"GET THE FUCK OUT NOW" he yelled at Kasim, he got up off the floor with a black eye and bloody nose he also had a cut on his cheek
"MAMA LET ME GOO, I WANNA GO WITH KASIMMMM" keuanna yelled crying trying to get out her mothers grip
"YOU AINT GOING WITH HIM SHUT UP" Dominique yelled looking at keuanna
Kasim gathered all his stuff in the duffel bag his dad threw down and headed out the door but was stopped by his sister screaming she was crying for him
"KASIMMM I WANNA GO WITH YOU" she cried holding out her hand as her mother pulled her back, she got out her mothers grip and ran to her brother hugging him tightly
"I-I wanna go with y-you" she cried in his chest he rubbed her back
"As soon as I turn nineteen I'll come back for you I promise" he whispered in her ear he then kissed her forehead and pulled back, keuanna was yanked back by Tameka
"Get out my house boy" Dominique slammed the door in Kasim face
Kasim was now walking to his best friend Jalissa house
That day was the worst day of his life it wasn't the fact that his parents didn't support him it was the simple fact he had to leave his sister.
