"Ke cmon get up we gotta get to the court house" I said loud knocking on her door scratching my head
"Ok I'm up" I heard her say so I walked away going back to my room going to my connected bathroom to do my hygiene routine after I then went and got dressed putting on a black button down shirt and some black slacks as well then I threw on my black dress shoes
Deciding to leave my dreads hanging I grabbed my man bag along with my phone and headed out my room to the kitchen seeing Ke sitting at the island eating cereal
"Ouu brother you look nice in all black" she said with a smile causing me to smile back
"Thank you you look nice as well but hurry up so we can get there on time and be able to leave at a good time to go shopping for your room" i said grabbing a water out the fridge since I never eat in the morning I at least drink water
Soon enough we were leaving the house and heading to the court house I had already talked to Mrs.McDonald and she was already there waiting on us along with our lawyer.
(A/N I really don't be knowing what go on in these type of cases so bare with me)
Few minutes passed and we've talked to the judge well our lawyer has and now we're just waiting to see if she's really gonna give me full legal custody of my sister
"I'm awarding sole custody to Kasim Bankwood" as soon as she said those words my sister jumped up and hugged me while our parents yelled while being put in cuffs
"As for Domonique and Tameka you both will be sentenced to ten years in prison with six months of probation" the judge said and Tameka let out a high pitched scream as they were pulled out the courtroom
"I got you for life now they can't hurt you anymore" I said kissing my sister's forehead I began to feel my shirt wet letting me know she was crying, a lone tear began rolling down my face.

"Sim I don't want that it's ugly and childish" Ke laughed knocking the unicorn pillow out my hand, we were on the pillow Aisle the basket was damn near full with stuff
"Girl whatever cmon let's go get you them led lights you been talking about" Turing the baskets we made our way to another aisle
"Stop there right there" she rushed down the aisle grabbing one box "I think I'm going to need another box, my room is big"
Walking towards her helping her look for another box seeing one on the top shelf causing me to sigh and shake my head
"It's one on the top shelf but how we gonna get that when we both short" I chuckled a little
"Uhh put me in the ba-wait is that your little friend" she said pointing and I quickly popped her hand down and turned around to see who she was talking about looking around I noticed Rashaad.
I guess he felt somebody staring so he looked up and we made eye contact smiling at me he started making his way towards us.
"Wassup lil bit" he went and gave ke a side hug then walked to me "wassup love I ca' get a hug" he asked and I could hear an accent nodding my head he wrapped his arms around my waist
"Hey" I said lowly as his head went to my neck placing a small kiss then pulling away from the hug
"What y'all in here buy y'all cart full" he asked looking at our cart
" we're shopping for my room, but the real question is, can you grab those led lights for me?" Ke pointed at and he chuckled grabbing them and passing them to her
"Thank you kind sir" she put them in the basket about to walk away and look at more stuff she stopped and looked at him " what are you doing once you leave target?" I raised my eyebrow at her when she asked that
"Nothing after why" he shrugged his shoulders and looked at me then back at her
"Well I have a new bed frame and dresser that need to be put together and I don't really trust Sim to do it after last time" she laughed and I mugged her
"Ke shut up for real" I pushed the car a little and it hit her in the knee
"What happened last time" he chuckled
"He thought he could put my bed together as soon as I sat down it fell apart" soon enough they both were laughing I rolled my eyes and started pushing the basket leaving them
"W-wait Sim" I could hear them both trying to catch up with me
"Leave me alone we done shopping" going to checkout the cashier began ringing our stuff up noticing Rashaad put his stuff behind ours
"Imma pay love don't worry bout it" he walked behind me putting his hands on my waist moving me to the side
"N-no it's fine you only put three things up here" I pulled out my card and he still pushed my hand
"Nah I got it for real Kasim" he tapped his black card on the thing before the cashier can even say the price grabbed his receipt he started putting some bags in the cart
"I'll back you back just tell me how much everything came up to" I opened my phone ready to Zelle him
"It's good ma for real" he started pushing the basket out the store with ke following right with him leaving me last
"Sim stop worrying he said it's fine let him be a gentleman" Ke said once I caught up with them shaking my head I went to the driver side and unlocked the doors so they can open the trunk
"Aye y'all ain't got no more space y'all want me to put the rest in my car and i follow behind y'all?" He said closing the trunk as I closed the back door
"Uhh yeah that's fine" nodding he put the rest of the stuff in his car and we all got in the cars. Rolling down his window he pulled beside me "imma be right behind y'all love" I nodded and rolled my window up and pulled off
"Y'all would be cute together" Ke said as I drove to the stop sign side eyeing her causing her to chuckle
"Girl hush" I mumbled
