The Ring System

Introduction - How it all began

Love, love, love, love. He did it all for Love.

He made himself Human for Love.

Did he regret it? No.

Does he miss the times before he was human, before he was Mortal? Sometimes, yes.

Will he go back? No. This was his decision, not anyone else's.

Where did all his power go? Into the ring. Into the very magical very powerful ring.
His friends knew of course, and more importantly his Lover knew. He gave everything up for her. Took all the hits he could, took every curse, every injury, everything.
And now it's cost him his power and immortality. She wanted to live a mortal life, and he wanted to be with her. But most importantly, he wanted a fulfilling life, a fulfilling life with his wife, with his children, with his family. And so.... That's exactly what he did.

First he went to subordinates, his companions, his Friends, and told them of what he planned to do. He told them that he wanted to die happy with the person he loved, and asked them to not interfere to let them be, and they after failing to convince him of otherwise agreed. However they stated that upon him becoming mortal that they would leave, for they did not wish to see their dearest friend die of old age, and he understood.

Finally he put everything he had into that ring, and became a human mortal, finally able to live out his days with his Mortal family. And so, for sixteen thousand years this ring was passed down from one to another, granting the users his power, and his immortality, until they too got tired of it and passed it on themselves.

Now finally after sixteen thousand years in the year of 2023 AD he, or rather his descendant will find his old friends once more.

Her name was Cornilia Menroe.

His name was Gallium Menroe.
