3rd POV
A week had passed since Y/N and Chan had confessed their feelings for each other, and it felt as though the world had shifted in the most wonderful way. Their interactions were filled with a newfound tenderness, a gentle undercurrent of affection that made every moment they spent together feel precious.
One sunny afternoon, Y/N found herself in the garden behind her house, her favorite book in hand. She had always enjoyed reading in this peaceful spot, but now there was an added layer of warmth to the tranquility—the knowledge that Chan was just a call away, ready to join her in the sun-dappled haven.
As if on cue, her phone buzzed with a message, and her heart fluttered at the sight of Chan's name.
Y/N POV
"Hey, mind if I join you in the garden?"
"Of course not! I'm already here."
Within moments, Chan appeared at the garden gate, a bright smile on his face. He settled beside me on the grass, leaning against a tree trunk.
"Hey," he greeted, his voice soft.
"Hey," I said, closing my book and placing it beside me. "How's your day been?"
Chan let out a content sigh. "Busy, but seeing you always makes it better."
A blush crept onto my cheeks, and I playfully nudged him with her shoulder. "Smooth talker."
They spent the next hour talking about everything and nothing. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, touching on childhood memories, dreams for the future, and even their favorite ice cream flavors. Each shared detail deepened their connection, making them feel like they were uncovering layers of one another's souls.
At one point, Chan stood up and held out his hand. "Dance with me?"
I looked up at him, a mixture of surprise and delight in my eyes. "Here?"
Chan chuckled, his hand still extended. "Why not? There's no one around, and I've always wanted to dance with you."
Unable to resist, I took his hand, and he pulled me to my feet. We swayed slowly to a melody only we could hear, the sunlight filtering through the leaves above, creating a gentle, shifting pattern on the ground.
As We moved, I couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness. It was as if we had been dancing around their feelings for years, and now we were finally moving in harmony, embracing the sweet rhythm of love.
3rd POV
Over the next few days, Y/N and Chan discovered the simple joys of being a couple. They went on long walks through the city, hand in hand, discovering hidden corners and sharing stories along the way. They cooked meals together, their laughter ringing through the kitchen as they experimented with recipes and inevitably made a mess.
One evening, they decided to watch a movie at home. They curled up on the couch under a cozy blanket, a bowl of popcorn between them. But soon enough, the popcorn was forgotten as their fingers intertwined and their attention shifted from the screen to each other.
"Chan," Y/N said, her voice soft as she gazed at him, "do you ever think about what brought us together? I mean, we've known each other for years, but it's like... everything happened at the right time."
Chan smiled, his thumb gently caressing the back of her hand. "I believe in fate, Y/N. Maybe we were meant to be friends first so that our connection could deepen and grow into something more beautiful."
Y/N nestled her head against his shoulder, feeling his warmth seep into her. "You always have the most wonderful things to say."
He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Only because I have someone incredible to say them to."
Time had flown by in a blur of laughter, shared moments, and whispered promises. One year had passed since that unforgettable day when Y/N had confessed her feelings, setting in motion a journey that had filled my life with more joy than I could have ever imagined.
As our one-year anniversary approached, I wanted to make sure that this day would be as special for Y/N as she had made every day of this past year for me. I had been secretly planning something that would capture the essence of our connection and the depth of my feelings.
The sun began to set on the horizon as I led Y/N to a breathtaking garden adorned with fairy lights. The air was perfumed with the scent of blooming flowers, and the warm breeze carried with it the promise of an enchanting evening.
Y/N looked around, her eyes wide with surprise and wonder. "Chan, what is all of this?"
I smiled and gently took her hand, our fingers intertwining. "I wanted to create a magical setting for our anniversary, just like this past year with you has been."
We settled onto a blanket, facing each other as the soft glow of the lights played on Y/N's features. Our fingers remained intertwined, a testament to the bond we had nurtured over the months.
As the night deepened, the stars above twinkled as if celebrating this milestone with us. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of anticipation, and I couldn't wait to reveal my surprise.
"Y/N," I began, my voice soft and filled with emotion, "I've spent the past year falling in love with you more deeply than I ever thought possible."
Her eyes shimmered with emotion, and she squeezed my hand in response.
I continued, my gaze never leaving hers. "So, I wanted to make this moment unforgettable. Close your eyes for a second."
She complied, and I reached into my pocket to retrieve a delicate silver necklace with a heart-shaped pendant. The pendant was encrusted with tiny diamonds, each one representing a cherished memory we had created together.
"Okay, you can open your eyes now."
Her eyes widened as she took in the necklace in my outstretched hand. "Chan, it's beautiful."
I helped her put on the necklace, and the pendant rested just above her heart—a symbol of our love and the journey we had embarked upon.
"Happy anniversary, Y/N," I said, my heart overflowing with affection.
Her smile was radiant as she reached out to cup my cheek. "Thank you, Chan. This means the world to me."
But the surprises weren't over yet. With a shy grin, I leaned in and brushed my lips against hers, pouring all the love and tenderness I felt into that single, meaningful kiss.
When we finally parted, her cheeks were flushed, and she wore a look of pure adoration. "You always manage to steal my breath away."
I chuckled, my heart singing at the sound of her laughter. "It's a skill I've been working on."
As the night drew to a close, and we walked hand in hand through the garden, I knew that our journey was just beginning. With each passing day, our love would continue to deepen and flourish, creating a beautiful tapestry of shared moments that we could cherish for years to come.
Under the moon's gentle gaze, with the stars as our witnesses, I held Y/N close, my heart full of gratitude for the love we had found in each other's arms.
