I'm sitting alone in the big classrooom, at the back by the window. This place have always been my and Suzannes place and now we don't want to end up with a tradition.

I start writing my essay on the English to be completed next lesson. I havn't started yet but the subject matter is quite simple, so once I start writing it only flows. I write in full swing on the computer with deep concentration and do not notice when it rings in. Not until the door is thrown up and my classmates flows into the classroom. Just as I look up, I see Ryan get into the door. I quickly turns my gaze to the computer and continue typing. But it's hard to not notice that Ryan chooses a different seat than his usual in front of the classroom. He choose the place in front of me. Before he sits down, he smiles at me. A smile that I know is true and genuine. I smile back with my flaming cheeks.

Just when the clock shows 12.00 on the wall, our teacher Mr. Bedingfield comes into the classroom, followed closely by Suzanne. I close my computer and wave to her to sit down next to me. But my hand drops quickly toward the table again. Suzanne looks roused, her eyes are wide open and the panic seens directly. My gaze drops to her hand and I catch sight of the newspaper as she clutched hold. She hurries up to me and drops down with a thump in the chair next to me. She put the newspaper in front of me.

"Look", she whispers and point to the article which lies open in front of me. "They have seen a wild horse run loose".

I turn my gaze to the newspaper and grabs it with both hands. I quickly skim through the article.

"Taylor, do you have something interesting to tell the class?"

I put the paper down on the table and notice that Mr. Bedingfields snaky eyes check straight into mine. I have never liked him. he has always been an "old-fashioned"-teacher. I mean, how often do we nowadays need to get up and curtsey when to say something?

The whole class are looking at me. What am I going to say? I rise slowly up and wonder if I should say the truth or lie. I decide to find a lie.

"I'm sorry, Mr Bedingfield", I say while I bend at the knees. "I forgot that I'm going to the dentist." I start to fumble with my stuff. I can see in the corner of my eye how Suzanne whispers "what do you do" and Ryan staring at me after eye contact. I shake almost invisible on the head.

I walk between the rows and past the lectern before Mr. Bedingfield saying something. "And the newspaper?", he ask. I stand with my back to and when I don't answer, he continues. "Next  time you maybe should try to draw less attention to you". Did I forgot to say that he has never liked me very much?

I don't turn around before I quickly go out of the classroom with the newspaper pressed hard against the chest. I hav a mission to take on. And it should be done on my own, I have decided.
