"Felix." It was a women's voice. A warm hand went through his hair a couple of times before she spoke again.

"Felix." There it was again. Soft and calming.

"Felix." It was as if she was calling him back. He was Felix. She wanted him to come back. Then all in one moment, it felt as though his lungs instantly filled with air as his eyes opened up wide. Elke was sitting beside him with his head in her hands.

"Second!" Felix's eyes were wide as he tried his best to get on his feet. Before he even sat up, he was met with a tremendous amount of pain that forced him back down. "Where's Second?" Felix asked between baited breaths.

"I don't know." Elke shook her head.

"We need to go after him." Felix once again tried to sit up before another wave of blinding pain overtook him. Felix looked down at his shoulder to see that it was wrapped up in what used to be Elke's shirt. He remembered what happened. A thunderclap, Tantor, attacked them. He stabbed him in the shoulder.

"Easy there, you're in no condition to move." Elke forced him back to the ground with a hand on the middle of his chest.

"We have to follow them; we cannot just let them get away." Felix struggled against Elke only for it to be largely useless.

"Rest, you need your energy." She looked quite serious. He knew that the injury he sustained on his shoulder was a bad one. Felix was not about to sit there and do nothing when their friend was taken away from them.

"Do you not want to go after him?" Felix asked with an accusatory tone in her voice.

"Of course, I do." Elke sighed. "But that is not an option right now."

"And doing nothing is." Now that was definitely an attack. Felix felt it when the words left his mouth, but he was not about to take them back. They needed to go after Second, they needed to help him.

"We're licking our wounds." Her eyes glanced down at Felix's shoulder.

"I'm not an imbecile, I can still move." With labored breaths, Felix got himself onto all fours. His left arm was significantly weaker than the rest of his body.

"You're not thinking straight, you need rest, Felix." She put her hand on his other shoulder and forced him to sit down. "I thought if I woke up you first you would understand that going after the prince was not an option."

"I thought Second was your friend too."

"He is my friend!" Elke yelled at him. "We just can't forget everything and foolishly risk everything to go after him."

"It is what you would do for me." Felix stated.

Elke looked away from Felix as she let out a sigh. "Even if you were right, that is not the point." She shook her head.

"Then what is?"

"That we just got our asses handed to us and now you want to try again after you've sustained a wound like that?" Elke pointed to his shoulder. He could see the pain written across her pristine face. Felix sighed as he laid back down on the ground. Her logic was right no matter how much Felix wanted to punch her for it.

A couple of deep breaths later and Felix spoke again. "I want to be able to do something." Felix sighed.

"We must wait our turn."

Felix shook his head. "We failed." He tried to curl his body, but it hurt too much for him to do it. He turned his head away from Elke and he let a couple of tears exit his eyes. They failed. Elke walked over to Felix before she knelt down and tentatively gave him a hug, she was sure not to touch his hurt shoulder. A couple of moments later she broke away and waited for him to speak again. "How does my shoulder look?"
