Chapter II: Chaos

Percy's Pov:

I woke up in a bright white room. Well, I couldn't really call it a room, more of a blank endless space. I turned my head to the side and saw two people; a man and a woman.

The man was wearing black robes with a universal pattern on them, hold that thought, the pattern was swirling around. He had dark grey eyes so you could barely tell the iris from the pupil. His black hair was almost has untamed as mine, and he had beautiful silver wings on his back. He looked like he was no older then  19, 20, or possibly 21 at the most.

The women, however was completely opposite. She had on a simple white robe with light grey trim on the neck, sleeves, and bottom. Her had electric blue eyes, not unlike Jason's, seemed to stare into my very being, while her long white hair flowed down her mid back. Marble white wings hugged her shoulders, she looked the same age, even younger then the man to the right of her.

"Where am I?" I asked confused "Did the underworld get a remodel or something?"

The man and woman laughed at this.

"No Perseus, you aren't in the underworld, but your not in the living world either... I guess you could say you are in between. A place where the dead are alive, and the living are dead." The women said, confusing me even more actually.

"Oh, okay, and you can call me Percy." I said, just deciding to go with it, I have a feeling that if I ask question... I'll just get even more confused. "Why am I in between, does everyone come here when they die?"

"No, you are special, Perseus." The man replied.

"Great, knowing my luck I somehow broke death." I muttered under my breath.

The man and woman chuckled. "No, no Perseus, we brought you here to give you a choice. We want you to become a commander for our army. You see we've been watching you for a while Perseus-..." The man started to say. But I mumbled under my breath

"Wow, stalker"

The man continued, either choosing to ignore my comment or he didn't hear it, "And we have seen your leadership skills, and how you have won many wars." Coughcough2coughcough. "nearly single handed. We need a formal commander. So would you join us, Perseus?" The man questioned me.

"One thing first... What do you need your army for?" I asked, my curiously getting the better of me. I don't know why they had on army, and no way am I invading a planet I have nearly died twice for. "I don't want to join an army, if it harms innocents." I finally told them

"Oh Styx no Perseus, we are the army that helps maintain peace in the universe." The women quickly exclaimed. "If when a dictator gains too much control, and they do, well, we take them out. When planets declare galactic war, we step in and defend the innocent."

I thought about if for a minute. Are these two trying to trick me or something. Well it can't get any worse from here, I'm already dead. If something goes wrong I can just kill myself again. (A/N PLEASE DONT KILL YOURSELF GUYS T^T) "Fine, I'll help you." I finally said after a couple minutes of thinking it over.

They smiled "Oh, just so you know, I am Chaos, and this is Order." The man said, he grabbed my hand. My eyes widened a bit in shock, I realized they were literally the creators of the universe. When he saw I was a least mildly prepared he did something similar to shadow traveling, we ended up in a huge marble city.
