Oxford is different from high school, but I feel like I'm adjusting pretty well. My classes aren't too hard and I've made a few new friends. The only downside is that I don't see Dami as often. It's not like we don't talk, we talk every day. I just miss her. It's currently Friday and my last class for the week ended a couple minutes ago. Now I'm packing a weekend back for when I'm at Dami and Mirabell's apartment. Dami thinks I'm coming tomorrow but I decided to surprise her by picking her up for RCA.

Once I'm done packing, I make my way to my new black 2023 mercedes-benz amg g63. It's the same model as Dami's with the same black and red leather interior, just hers is white. I then start the hour and a half drive to RCA. It's 12:25 right now so if the traffic is moving in the city I should be able to get to Dami before 2:00.

To my luck there was barely any traffic so I got to RCA at around 1:50. Mirabell told me that Dami's last class ends at 2:30. So I have about 25-30 minutes to kill, so I decide to get something for Dami.

Because she goes to an art school it's obvious that there would be an art supply store on the next block from her school.

When I make it to the supply store I see about three works in the store. I head to the one at the front to ask where I can find what I'm looking for.

"Hey, where's the professional oil paint?"

"Oh yeah it's in the back of aisle 4 to the right."

The worker responds

"Great thanks."

I head down the aisle and see the oil paints. I grab the biggest set of oil paints I see. In every color variation. I put them in my basket along with tons of paint brushes, and palette knives. I'm about to head to check out when I see all the canvases. I grab 3 of every size they have. I also grab some In black.

After I checked out I had spent a pretty penny.

Why are art supplies so expensive? Well it's for Damiona, so I couldn't care less how much I spent.

When I make it back to her school it's 2:10, so I have about 10 minutes of time to spare. I just lean on my car and watch some of Dami's tik toks.

About 5 minutes had gone by when I hear the familiar voice of Dami. Her backs turned and she's talking to another girl. They seem to have wrapped up their conversation pretty quickly because the other girl walks away and Damiona is left standing on her phone with her back still turned to me.

I smile as I walk up to her. When I'm within arms reach of her I grab her by the waist to pull her to me and I rest my chin on her shoulder.

"Hey bellissima"

Beautiful

She gasps in shock and turns in my arms.

"Dominic, what are you doing here? I thought you were coming tomorrow?"

She asks surprised after she wraps her arms around my neck in a hug.

"What? I can't come and surprise my beautiful girlfriend?" 

"No, I'm just surprised. But I'm happy you're here."

She says before pulling me down for a kiss.

"I have a gift for you."

I say after I pull away.

"Really? Where is it?"

She says looking around.

"It's in the car. Come on."

I take her to the car and put her stuff in the back seat. Then I take her around to the back of the car and open the trunk, revealing all the stuff I bought her.

When she sees all the stuff I got her she gasps and covers her mouth.

"Dominic, you didn't buy all this?"

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I did."

"Dominic art supplies are so expensive, you didn't need to buy me all this. This must have cost a fortune. You need to return it."

She rambles

"Nope. not happening."

I say as I walk to her and take hold of her face.

"I wanted to buy all this stuff for you. You deserve it. You're just going to have to get used to me spoiling you."

"Fine. but no more shopping sprees for you."

She whines

"Ok fine. Let's get going, I'm tired and hungry."

I say as I open the car door for her.

After we got to Dami's apartment, we ordered some food and watched a movie while cuddled up on the couch.

We're now in her room, lying in bed and Dami's already asleep. I stare down at her in my arms, and can't help but feel overwhelming joy.

I can't believe she's finally mine.

I'm brought out of my thoughts when Damiona shifts in her sleep turning towards me to wrap her arms around my waist.

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this girl.

I slowly drift asleep thinking about our future together, and just how much she means to me.

She's my happily ever after.
