Six months later
Over the past few months me and Dominic have been preparing for college, and I was exempted into The Royal College of Art in London. It's been my dream school since 9th grade. I always thought that Dom would take one of the football scholarships he was offered, but to my surprise he didn't. He told me that even though he loves playing football, his dream was always to take over his dad's company after he retired. Which led him to apply to Oxford, and he got exempted. Along with that a week or so after I got my acceptance letter, Mirabell told me that she was also exempted into RCA.
Now that we all know what colleges we're going to, Mirabell, Dominic, and I are looking for a place to live that's equally close to both colleges.
"Ok, well if RCA is in South Kensington, and Oxford is in, well Oxford. We're either going to have to find an apartment in between the two or we can live on campus."
Mirabell says while looking at her computer trying to find a place close to both colleges.
"Well, I want to be close to Dami."
Dominic adds
He's currently lying on Mir's bed with his head in my lap while I scratch his head.It always seems to make him tired.
"Well Oxford and RCA are more than an hour away from each other."
Mir adds
"I don't care. I'll drive an hour everyday if I have to."
"That's stupid. Do you know how much gas you're going to have to buy? And it would be two hours, one hour there, one hour back."
"Still dont care."
"Well RCA is in the city and Oxford is in more of a secluded area. So I think it would be better if you stayed on campus and Mir and I got an apartment. I just looked it up and Oxford and RCA are an hour and a half away from each other. So about 60 miles."
I add
"Well I think I found a good apartment close to RCA, it's called the Nova Building. It's on 79a Buckingham Palace Rd. It's about a 14 minute drive away from RCA."
Mir informs me.
"That could work. Do they have any available 2 bedroom apartments?"
I ask
"Let me check. Umm, yeah they do, but they are pretty expensive. So our parents are going to have to pay the rent for a while. They probably won't mind though."
Mir adds
"I guess I could stay on campus and just come visit you every weekend."
Dom says
"Ok great."
I said excitedly.
