It all began during a routine mission to retrieve a mysterious dragon artifact, a rare tool known for its immense power. As the group of boys cautiously stepped into the daunting cavern, a surge of trepidation coursed through their veins. The oppressive darkness enveloped them, punctuated only by feeble rays of sunlight that fought their way through the fissures above. Each step they took echoed like haunting whispers, bouncing off the cold, damp walls. The air itself held an eerie stillness, broken only by their muffled breaths. With every passing moment, their eyes adjusted to the dimness, revealing gnarled stalactites and mysterious shadows dancing upon the uneven ground.

"Kai.. can you light a fire for us.." Jay grumbled as he almost tripped over a tiny pebble.

The fire elemental only looked back, his eyes filled with irritation and displeasure.

Zane noticed Jay's request and his eyes glowed white, he was a flashlight!

"Woah! Thanks, Zane!" The brunette boy exclaimed.

There was silence for a few seconds until it was broken by the earth elemental.

"I don't feel too good about this place. Should we split up?" He asked.

"No. I don't think we should..." Kai responded to Cole's question.

Zane stepped up, "I believe we'll have a higher chance of finding the artifact if we split up. But Kai is right, it's very dangerous to split up in a place like this."

"Let's split up! We need to get this thing to Wu as soon as possible." Jay jumped in. "Well, Kai? It's 3 to 1!" Jay added while giggling.

Kai only growled in response. Soon, every ninja was heading in different directions.

Little did Kai and his fellow ninjas realize that Morro, the ghostly villain, had been watching from the shadows, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As Kai approached a strange-shaped cliff, a sudden gust of wind surrounded him, resulting in a sense of eeriness.

"Wha- What the fu-" Kai was cut off by dark energy surging from the ground and into his body, enveloping him in a sinister glow. As the energy grew stronger and stronger, Kai let out a blood-curdling scream, a scream of help, he hoped the others would hear. He felt excruciating pain and that pain just kept getting worse and worse. Slowly, Kai began to lose control of his thoughts and actions. Morro's presence grew stronger within him. Morro's influence over Kai deepened, manipulating his once-burning desire for justice into an insidious force.
