Y/N's POV:
And just like that, three months went by. It was the fastest time of my life. One thing I knew for sure, was that I loved Peter. So much. It was hard to imagine not having him in my life. I felt bad as I hardly had any time left to hang out with Lucy and TK. But I wouldn't trade my time with Peter for the world. We were so close; practically inseparable. I would send him pictures of golf balls and tell him they were his baby pictures. He would send pictures of angels and tell me they were mine.
He and I were sitting on the roof of a tall building, overlooking the town. He and I were not supposed to be up there without permission but neither of us cared. The cool breeze whipped across our faces. I suddenly felt a light pop and realized that my hair tie had broken. My hair began to fall down to my shoulders. Peter stared in awe. I had never had my hair down while hanging out with him before. The wind pulled at several strands. I ran my fingers through it and tamed it. I noticed Peter gazing at me but he didn't stop
Y/N: "What's the matter? You've never seen loose hair before?" I joked around.
Peter: "I've just never seen hair so beautiful before." I blushed as he stared at me with so much adoration. I smiled and buried my face in my knees shyly. He beamed and looked at the orange sky. I turned my head and looked at him. I couldn't hide it anymore.
Y/N: "Peter-" I started. He immediately gave me his full attention. "If you still wanted to d- I think I'm ready. I want to. What I'm trying to say is we should start-" I don't know why I was this nervous to talk to my best friend. He had been here for me so much more than anyone I had ever known in my life. I loved him dearly.
My cheeks flushed and I knew I was probably as red as a cherry. I closed my eyes and breathed in.
Y/N: "Let's date." I smiled nervously. "Of course only if you want to."
Peter said nothing. Instead, he breathed in deeply with his eyes closed. He opened them and looked off into the sunset, smiling. I stared at him anxious for a response. He laid his hand on top of mine and squeezed it a bit. I squeezed back. He finally looked at me, his eyes watery and his smile shaking.
Peter: "Y/N, I thought you would never ask." I was relieved. We were holding hands now. "I've literally been waiting for that since the moment I met you." I laughed. It was true. He peered into my eyes. Gently but firmly, he placed his hand on the side of my face. My eyes flickered from his eyes to his mouth. He began to lean in close to me and I did the same to him. With our eyes closed, our lips met. It was a feeling that reached my soul.
The kiss was tender and sweet. I didn't want to let go. My hand held the back of his neck as we kissed so softly yet so strongly. When we finally pulled away we looked at each other and laughed. It was a perfect storybook kiss. Peter and I both blushed. He studied me a bit. My long flowing hair danced in the wind. My eyes flooded with joyful tears. My lips that he had finally felt on his own. He looked at me with so much love. No one had ever looked at me like this. I felt like it gave me the will to live.
Peter: "You really are- beautiful y/n." He said, his stare not wavering for one moment.
Eventually, the sun set and we both left the building's rooftop. He and I walked together arm in arm; not needing to say anything. Us both being there with each other was enough. He looked at me and bowed. I giggled. He was too cute.
Peter: "Good night my lady." he delicately kissed my hand and expected me to turn and begin walking home. Instead, I hesitated and thought for a moment.
