"C'mon Kendall hurry up I can't believe you're not ready yet we're on in ten."

I sighed and fixed my dress in the mirror, scanning myself from head to toe. My hair was up in a half up half down kind of thing, my makeup was just some foundation and powder that made my skin look flawless, and simple cat eyes. Jade had to pin me down to put my fake eyelashes on. 

I was absentmindedly playing with a string on my dress when I felt warm arms wrap around my waist. I turned around to fall head first into icy blue. Jake grinned down at me and pulled me into a big bear hug, I tightly smiled and tried to loosen his grip on me.

"Funny meeting you here Kennie." He mockingly said.

I giggled and blushed, "Well we're performing next I think and this is our corner you dumb."

He smiled sheepishly and leaned his head down to kiss me when we heard someone clear their throats. I silently thanked god he didn't get to kiss me, the idea may be a little less revolting but as much as I hate it I'd rather not kiss anyone but my mate. Hate my life.

Jake looked over my head and his eyes instantly darken. I whip around to see Jace growling at us. Oh shit. Jake pushes me behind him, I flinch as I felt Jace's hard gaze on me, I didn't want to look up but I couldn't help myself. I looked up and made eye contact with Jace. All I saw was disappointment, hate, and anger. 

I looked down and looked back up at Jace and reflected the looks he was giving me, I tried to add as much venom as I could. Jake looked down at me for a second and flashed a smile at me, I smiled back and took one last look at Jace before hurrying away to look for Jade.

I found her and Tyler snogging in a corner of the auditorium. "Erm.. Jade...Jade!?" I raised my voice a bit. She jumped apart from Tyler and didn't look a least bit ashamed, it must be so easy for them. 

I sighed and looked down, "Jade it's time for us to go on." I mumbled.

She nodded and kissed Tyler on the cheek. I got dragged by Jade all the way to behind the curtain, I looked down and tried my best not to break down and curl up to die. 

"Honey tell me everything." Jade said with a mock southern twang.

I sighed and looked into Jade's big brown eyes, I told her everything. Her eyebrows furrowed and she frowned, "I swear those boys will be the death of us."

I smiled and checked my appearance in the mirror before I turned to Jade and she grabbed my hand, pulling me onto the stage.

We sang our hearts out. Every few times I would look out into the crowd and find Jace staring at me, mesmerised. Once we finished we ran off the stage and burst into hysterical giggles. We then ran off into the audience to watch the rest of the show.

After a few people went on I saw Jace walk on stage with Tyler. I made nothing of it and watched intently.

Jace walks into the middle of the stage and I heard the redheaded bitch of the west start swooning and bragging. Jace looked all around the audience until he founds my eyes, and smirked smugly before taking the mic.

"Erm we weren't going to do anything but then decided we were so here it is." Jace never broke eye contact with me as he spoke.

Tyler started strumming a guitar I hadn't noticed. And Jace started singing.

"Stay for tonight

My eyes widened as I realized he was singing to me and Jade was almost fainting so she grabbed my hand for support.

"How the hell did you ever pick me?

Honestly, I could sing you a song

But I don't think words can express your beauty

We giggled at the beast part since y'know.. ya.

Jace's eyes were begging me to forgive him as he sang. I blushed and nodded furiously. He smiled and kept singing.

They ended the song there and everybody was on their feet clapping and whistling. I giggled and clapped along with everyone.   "Thank you, thank you. This song goes out to," Vixen was bragging harder if that were possible she even stood up ready for Jace to say her name, "My lovely mate, Kendall."   Me and Jade froze and looked at each other then at Jace.   Oh my sweet baby Jesus.

  -------    oh em gee that took forever to re-write, I had almost finished and fell asleep while writing and my mum went to turn off my computer but she deleted the chappie and I wanted to choke her (:
