Shaq sat on his the couch in the living room in the house he had always lived in. He and his family never had the money to send him to college, and he never had the money to buy a house or apartment.
Did I do the right thing? Shaq pondered. That guy couldn't have been telling the truth about his mom... Right?
Shaq sat for a long time thinking. He he'd have to file a welfare check for the man's mother; but he didn't know her address.
"WHAT THE FU- " Screamed Shaq's mom as she walked through the front door and dropped all the groceries in her hand.
"Hi mom. " Shaq cut off his mother.
Shaq's mom stood, mouth wide completely paralyzed where she stood.
     "Shaq...? " She whispered quietly.
     "Yeah, mom? "
     "You're a bit bigger then usual... "
"Growth spurt. " Shaq said flatly and shrugged.
"Honey, your 21." Replied his mother.

I decided on a name for myself. Dr. Misfortune. Pretty fitting for me. Once I get out of this prison cell and get my suit back I'll beat that guy into the ground. How could he do this to me? I only have my mom left. Had. He didn't know. That doesn't mean I'm not gonna destroy him. The man slipped his journal, which was formerly his brother's, under his prison bunk.
"You've been a reserved fella, ya' know 'dat? " Remarked the man's cellmate. "What's your name at least? "
"Emmett. I tried to steal an EpiPen. "
The man responded.
"That's it? You got into prison for that? "
"I destroyed the whole pharmacy it was in. "
"Oh. I've been in her 18 years and that's not even a surprise to me. " Emmett's cellmate chuckled, and for the first time in a while Emmett smiled too. "I'm Damien. " Emmett reached and shook his hand. Emmett enjoyed Damien's company, he didn't expect to see him for very long.

Shaq rode his bike to the jail. The jail was just 2 miles from his house. The bike was small compared to Shaq and he knew he needed to get a new one.
It had been a day since Shaq told his mother about his new found height and strength. She took it as well as he expected: she was confused.
Up ahead Shaq could see the jail, but something was different. Something was wrong. It was on lockdown.
Shaq swiftly parked his bike in the jail parking lot and ran in. Immediately he saw people scrambling around. Cops.
"You can't be here right now. You have to leave. " Declared a cop who walked over to him waving his arms. Shaq looked down at him.
     "Why? " Asked Shaq.
"Do you really need to know? " The cop put his hands on his hips and angrily squinted at Shaq, not at all intimidated by his size.
Shaq turned around and as he was walking out of the prison he overheard four words from the office to his right.
How did he escape? Shaq went pale. He knew exactly who escaped.
Shaq ran out of the building and got onto his bike as quickly as possible. He was in danger and he knew it. Terrible danger.
Shaq drove his bike down the roads, avoiding everything in his way, not stopping for anything. The city streets were crowded with people and cars all around him. As he neared his street he heard a familiar voice.
"Did you expect me? " Suddenly Shaq was slammed off of his bike, the bike smashing onto his side. The man grabbed Shaq's throat and held him to the ground. "Now you know how I felt you... You... " Shaq took the opportunity and punched the man, enabling himself to role left and get up.
The two exchanged punch after punch, Shaq occasionally grunting, the man occasionally yelling an obscenity.
"You'll pay for my mother... All I had left... " The man stopped punching as he muttered the words. Shaq punched him square in the stomach.
The man tugged at his stomach in pain and fell to his knees. Shaq front kicked him in the face.
The man fell to the ground.
"Who are you? " Shaq asked standing over the man.
"I am Dr. Misfortune. " Dr. Misfortune kicked Shaq in the side of his knee, dropping Shaq to the ground as well.
Dr. Misfortune climbed up in obvious pain. He punched Shaq once more in the face before running to an Alley. Shaq didn't bother following.
Shaq looked around. A huge crowd had gathered around them while they fought. Majority of the viewers were filming with their phone cameras.
"Just fricking great. " Shaq muttered to himself.
