"No... No..." Aurora stuttered. "I can't wipe it clean." Wilson tried to wipe off the black smudges around her eyes but did not dare to use much force. Then, when he realized that he could not wipe it clean, he gave up the struggle.

"You can stop wiping. It's waterproof. It's fine once I go back and remove my makeup later," Aurora replied, shaking her head while pushing his hand away. After both of them had finished their meal, Aurora lay on the sofa with a full stomach and began to rest while looking satisfied.

Meanwhile, Wilson did not bother her and went back to his work. Aurora would occasionally raise her head to glance at him while her mind wandered back to the time when the Gray family managed to get a share of that piece of land during her previous life.

It seemed as if that incident had taken place around this time too. That piece of land was located in the heart of the city. Its surrounding area had not yet been developed despite its strategic location. As a result, many companies had been competing to get their hands on it.

If she remembered correctly, Wilson had been planning to use this piece of land to build a mountain resort. This was originally top-secret information but she leaked it and caused Wilson a loss of hundreds of millions back then.

Aurora had already told Paula about this earlier. Previously, when Aurora first woke up after her suicide attempt, Paula had tried to move into their house to confirm whether or not the information she received was true and accurate. Also, she would be able to get closer to Wilson and obtain more benefits from him.

She recalled that it was then that she leaked the information to Paula. In this life, she would never let the Gray family obtain anything from them again! "Darling, there's something I'd like to tell you." As she thought about this memory, Aurora felt rather ashamed and uneasy. Nonetheless, it was not too late for her to apologize. With his level of intelligence, Wilson should at least be able to think of a way to deal with the Gray family once she told him about this.

"Hmm?" Wilson had been fully engaged with his work, but his gaze darkened slightly when he raised his head and saw Aurora staring at him while idly kicking her delicate little feet in the air, his gaze darkened slightly.

"There's something I'd like to tell you." Aurora sat up and hugged her knees. "Recently, Sister Paula asked me if anything is going on since you've been so busy, and I told her that you're planning to buy a piece of land soon..." Once she finished, Aurora lowered her head like a child who had done something wrong. "After that, she went home and told my father about it."

Wilson's eyes narrowed a little. "Anything else?"  "Well... Well..." Aurora paused to think for a moment while biting her lip. "Previously, I also told her about your partnership with the Williamson Family Group as well as the department store that closed down before that. Then, some time ago..." After giving it some more thought, Aurora realized that she had made so many mistakes that she could barely keep count.

This was the first time she felt that having a good memory was not necessarily a blessing. "I'm sorry. I didn't do it on purpose. It's all my fault for not knowing any better. I've been telling her everything she wanted to know." Aurora lowered her head looking ashamed and guilty.

"It's okay," Wilson suddenly replied and calmly glanced at her. Aurora was stunned. Soon, her eyes grew red with tears. 'I must've been blind to have pushed such a wonderful man away before this.'

"I won't make such a mistake anymore," Aurora promised. "In the future, if you're working or having a meeting, remember to close the door." "Ha!" Wilson let out a chuckle. "Silly girl, you're my wife. Why should I hide anything from you? Everything I have is yours."

"No matter what you've done, as long as you don't end up hurting yourself, I won't get angry." As his pleasant voice echoed in her ears, Aurora felt her heart was about to break. What had she ever done to deserve such love and affection from him? "Mr. CEO, do we go back to the residence or..." The driver asked hesitantly and had a bewildered look in his eyes when he saw the CEO carefully entering the car while carrying his sleeping wife in his arms.
